I know this doesn't have anything to do with PD2008, but didn't you say after PD2008 you were going to have a totally new show production? I think you said that isntead of calling the Episodes of URWL,"URWL Episode- ?", you were going to call it "URWL Rush?"

Not quite sure what to do with that yet. Another show has the name "Rush" out there, so I'm thinking I'm going to hear from them if I change the show's name...even though the original text-based URWL Rush predated their show by about...oh, 6-7 years.
As of right now, I don't know about whether or not I'm going to switch to the new name or when I'm going to switch to the new "season" of the show (since SVR2009's looking like a real bitch). I will be introducing new production elements to the normal events but I'm not sure when at this point.

10/19/2008[/u] Made more progress over the weekend. VinceNeil1981 came over and we recorded commentary for two matches. The results of those wacky sessions can be found in the thread "When Commentary Goes Terribly Wrong". Having Vince on two matches will give some more variety to the event and should make things a bit more informal commentary-wise. Hopefully I can be done with all of these matches and promos sooner rather than later so I can start on actual match commentary.

10/24/2008 Few more matches edited but not done yet. Due to a big video project I had to complete earlier this week, I wasn't able to do as much as I wanted to (my goal was two matches a night). I'll try to do as much as possible tonight and tomorrow. But this is life, guys, what can I say.

10/30/2008 I only have about three more matches to edit and aim to be done by the weekend or early next week. Then comes promos, intros, the rest of the commentary...one step at a time. There aren't any big video projects at university for me until the end of the semester so I have a lot more time to work on PD2008.

Just curious Goldash why don't you show URWL as a project for the University to see, or do they set a subject for movies and such?

He probably can't include copyrighted material in his video projects.

I can use copyrighted songs (as long as they aren't shown publicly, like for a film festival) but they actually want me to shoot my own real life video in there. That doesn't mean that I can't have URWL playing on a TV in the background of one of my scenes, though.

11/13/2008[/u] Another busy week on campus, but at home, I'm making some room for the URWL. I'm done with all the matches now (except for one that involves special video segments in order to make it complete). I'm currently working on promo videos in-between matches. Again, I'm sorry to those who hate this long wait but it will be worth it when it drops. Trust me on this one.

Take your time, Goldash007. Popular Demand 2008 looks like it is gonna be one of the best shows that URWL has produced.

11/20/2008 Got some more essential stuff done for the event and finally took the time to make a layout of all the video segments I need to complete the event in Microsoft Word. I concluded there will be around 35 total video segments in this event (excluding videos within matches). So for those of you who think we're dead, suck on that. It's hard work.

11/25/2008[/u] Done with every match. Now it's time for promotional stuff and piecing the event together. I'd like to think the easiest is yet to come but who knows. But it's closer to being done, that's all that matters.
