While existing features like create-a-wrestler and create-a-finisher have received important upgrades, the big news for creative types will be the design-a-story mode. Using what looks to be a flexible set of tools, you'll be able to unleash your inner Vince McMahon (or, if you're evil, your inner Vince Russo) and design broadcasts of RAW, SmackDown, and ECW from the ground up. This is much more than just an extension of GM mode from a few years ago--you'll have control of everything: matches that appear in your show, backstage fights, interviews galore, and even the words each Superstar speaks will be from your specific script. Here

this has so much to do with URWL that it shouldn't be in the wrestling video games section

I have a feeling this will be the feature that will put CAW shows over the top. So looking forward to trading in my copy of 09 and just starting Season Tres on 2010.

HELL FREAKING YEAH!!!! Woo wait has then been confirmed for CAWs? They said that CAW has been streamlined, as well as ONLINE SHARING (I guess they read my thread about Fight Night) but nothing about extra slots or new attire options. Hopefully the additions will be worth a damn.

Why isn't there a WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2010 Thread here? Cause you can talk about the game without making a new topic everytime something is announced. It makes sense to me. lol Anyways, It's good that they finally fixed some things in the CAW mode. Also I heard that they went back to the old way you spread out attributes instead of the way it was in 09. And there's also rumor I think of a "Create A TitanTron" feature in the game. And if the Training Facility is one of the arenas you can have, It's gonna be used ALOT by CAW Leagues. But thats if. lol I'm actually excited about this game.

Remade and re-titled the thread. All SVR 2010 related material goes in this thread. Other threads mentioning new SVR information will be deleted from this point forward.

Alternate Alternate attires? Me likey. No need to change Emo's attire color every show.
I love how they're really upping customization this year. But I have a feeling the gameplay's going to be the same ol' same ol'. Oh, well. At least it'll lead to better episodes of the show.

I must admit, I am pretty damn excited for this game despite being ready to be let down once again. But despite that I really think this will be the CAW League Owner's dream (next to Fire Pro at least). We will probably also see an influx of new leagues begin as a result but not in a traditional sense (many things in the game will allow for editing of angles and video packages without ever touching editing software itself).
Lots of things, from the interference feature to the Custom Titantrons will probably make this the most immersive game in the series. And if everything delivers, I have no choice but to go all out and give you the most immersive version of the URWL to date...
...that's if the game is up to snuff. No, I don't feel like continuing with 08 anymore. So even though I am pretty skeptical, I believe this will be worth our while. Hopefully.

Some people have already got the game before the release. www.youtube.com/user/BroadhagenThis person shows off all the moves that are in the game. So far I love the new tag team moves. It could make tag matches in CAW abit enjoyable.

EMOtion/Whirling Dervish, Check. Decapitator, nope (but I think it was this way last year, I had it as Akina's trademark and made him a new finisher. We'll see what looks good this year for him if CAF is still horrid). MUCH BETTER "strong" attacks (like headbutts) and slams. Guys like !ntero and Barry will be a lot more dominant now. And yes, those Double Team moves are much more impressive and realistically animated. Can't wait to see them in "real" action. ;D

I've just noticed that the Air Raid Siren move is not in. That could be bad for !ntero's "Aftershock" move. Also; From what I've seen on some vids that everytime the 1st entrance starts in one of the ppv arenas, a venue banner pops up in the top middle of the screen. Unless there's a option to turn it off, it could be a tiny bit bad for some caw leagues that tells what the a show or event is hosting at.

The new movies in this game are lovely. They really raised the bar with moves.

There's an option in the pause menu for "Production Features" or something like that. Maybe that can turn off the overlay graphics (venue information, copyright notice, WWE LIVE lower third). I'll let you all know tomorrow if it works or not. I've just noticed that the Air Raid Siren move is not in. That could be bad for !ntero's "Aftershock" move. Well, it's either CAF time for !ntero (I made him a custom powerbomb finisher in 09 but that never materialized, as you all know) or back to the Full Nelson as a full-time finisher.
