MIA is back, and her first single, "Born Free", has one of the most uncompromising, brutal and graphic videos in a long time attached to it. The video was flagged by YouTube for its nudity and violence, however. Here's a link to Vimeo. Not for the faint of heart. It allegorically deals with the subject of governmental persecution of a group of people, a very sensitive subject for many groups around the world. If MIA was looking to make a political statement with her video, she did it. I'll be surprised if this video doesn't make headlines around the world in the next little while. It just may be the "Thriller" of the 2010's. Check it out:
