I think it is good for TNA iMPACT! ratings and great for wrestling fans. On the other hand, it's bad because Hogan as well as The Rock and Steve Austin, etc., is the main responsable for what WWE is today, and how popular it is. A stab in the back, or just money matters? Or something else? ^_^
Maybe tomorrow we'll see Big D*ck Johnson as WWE Champion. You never know whats comming next.

idk...TNA is my choice of wrestling on TV. I cant judge anything before I see this. This might be the thing that TNA needs to win the rating war. As much as I hate to see Hogan jump onto the TNA bandwagon and try to be the new sting and attempt to seem as if hes 27 again. If he does win the TNA title from Aj FOR ANY TIME OR REASON, that will be the last straw for me and I'll be done with on air wrestling and stick to CAW. Aj being champion is something that TNA really needs, and they havent been using Aj to his full potential. On a side note, the Aj vs. Daniels vs. Joe 2 match should be a great match and make people realize how much better TNA is then WWE. Just thought I would throw in my two cents....p.s GO URWL! REBIRTH!

let's see...
1) Hogan is now in TNA, because his American Gladiators royalties haven't covered his divorce costs yet
2) Vince Russo is still a writer in TNA (I think)
3) The Apple Pie Indian Strap Match was concocted when both Hogan and Russo were in WCW
4) said gimmick is past the 7-year Jim Cornette recycled gimmick rule
therefore, we can conclude that this could very well be the closest we will ever have:
THE TNA APPLE PIE JEREMY BORASH INDIAN IMPACT STRAP MATCH, BROTHER!
...well it was either this explanation or I spam this thread with "Apple Pie" chants. I like the former.

I wonder if there'll be a parade at universal studios for Hulk. Disneyland did it in 94 so it would make sense for Universal to do it.
I wonder if there be apple pie there also. lol

Yes Angle jobbing to a leg drop... Styles jobbing to a leg drop. Honestly TNA should be looking for young talent, instead of the older guys who can't wrestle, I use wrestle loosely there. Look and Nash who seems barely able to walk these days, and now Hogan. I can't help but think TNA management has lost the plot. I see that this can only mean that the TNA originals will now be another rung lower and even if you don't like Styles he represents hope if they keep the belt on him. That's my opinion on this

Excited to see what the ratings will look like after tomorrow night. We shall see if this experiment works out.
And I don't expect Hogan to change his "me first" attitude in TNA. I wonder if anyone on the roster is secretly pissed that Hogan has entered the picture, especially those who worked with him in his WCW days when he refused to be a team player (except to Sting (kinda-sorta), Goldberg and Billy Kidman, that is).
Can't wait to see how the "defamer" and the "defamee" (Russo and Hogan) work after settling their "defamation of character" lawsuit out of court from the last days of WCW...for those that don't know, search for "Russo Bash At The Beach Shoot" and you'll see what happened. It was a total clusterfuck that was only made more confusing when a real life lawsuit came from it. To this day, no one is really sure if that whole angle was a shoot, a work or a terrible "thing that internet fans would only mark out over" that Russo did from time to time.
Also, rumors are flying that if the Hogan experiment works out ratings-wise, and is sustainable for a few weeks, that TNA will eventually get a Monday night timeslot and compete with WWE. This may be very premeditated since the angle and match quality has been very hit and miss, but I guess since Hogan and Bischoff are back together in a wrestling company, the rumor mill must be growing exponentially by the hour.

except to Sting (kinda-sorta), Goldberg and Billy Kidman, that is. and The Rock, and Triple H, and Brock Lesnar, and Kurt Angle, and Chris Jericho. Anyways apperently he's not going to be an actual wrestler in TNA

and The Rock, and Triple H, and Brock Lesnar, and Kurt Angle, and Chris Jericho. Sorry Mala I was referring to his time in WCW because TNA just seems like it's the same type of animal. I just hope there's enough structure in the locker room so that everything's not as "Hogan-and-Nash-centric" as it was in those days.

OKAY I haven't been here in a while, but NOTHING has happened in the wrestling world in the past 6 months to keep me interested. THIS has got me right back into wrestling. WWE has been garbage, I can't even sit through 15 minutes of anything they're doing right now. TNA has a huge opportunity here, with WWE's product being so horrible.
It's a fact that competition makes the product better. So lets see how this unfolds in the next few months. I just hope that Hogan/Bisch learned from their mistakes..
