Few things to clear up as I begin work on Rebirth for the first time in a long time:
1. As I tried to say in another post recently, Rebirth is alive and kicking, and will NOT turn into Digital Mayhem 2010 as I said on my GoldashTV vlog. There's simply too much work that has to be done if I were to re-brand everything. Most of the graphics for Rebirth have already been made, so I only have to tweak them and they're ready to go. Plus, I wouldn't have an opportunity to use the snazzy Rebirth logo, which I feel very proud of, had I replaced Rebirth with Mayhem, so...yeah. That's my reason for keeping Rebirth alive.
2. Fans' Choice Awards vignettes will be split up between Rebirth, HighStakes Episode 1 and Roughness Episode 1. This will be done because I plan to do some backstage and angle-oriented stuff during Rebirth using the CAS cutscenes that every league seems to use. Splitting up the vignettes means a shorter show and less stuff to sit through in-between matches. I will also split three of the most major awards between each show so that Rebirth doesn't contain all the minor awards and Roughness doesn't contain all the major ones. I'm probably looking at Rebirth either showcasing the Match of the Year or the Wrestler of the Year award vignette as its "major" one.
3. The "You Are URWL" results will NOT take place at Rebirth, and will be the showcase of the next major supercard (either Digital Mayhem 2010 or whatever I decide to call it).
4. The card will remain the same. I once thought of changing matches entirely, but instead may change my original outcomes around a bit to speed angles up or to move things along quicker than I anticipated before this whole Spring semester threw me a curveball.
All right, Rebirth is back in production. Let's get some excitement started around here once again.
