This is a new column I'll be writing that will shed some light on minor information so that the forums don't get clogged with threads no one reads. It's similar to the breaking news thread in format but is only designed to shed some light on information that doesn't deserve its own thread.

SBP's New Career Begins With Huge Presence in Episode 9
He wasn't kidding. Shane B. Perkins came into Nashville with a huge chip on his shoulder, aiming to finally prove himself as a professional wrestler after cutting ties with longtime mentor Barry White at Popular Demand 2008. After all was said and done, Shane not only gained the upper hand in a well-fought match against Hog Williker but humiliated White and good friend Merle Haggard Junior after an Internet Title match later in the event. In the first half of Episode 10's double main event, Shane gets another shot at Barry White in the URWL's first Trios match of the CAW Era. Time will tell if this newfound intensity and unique attitude that Shane possesses will lead him to the URWL Internet Title at Discontent: The Recession.
A Terrible Night For Cory Jones
Shane B. Perkins may have had true career revival in Nashville, but the wrestler formerly known as CobrA, Cory Jones, had the single worst evening in his young URWL career. Not only did Jones lose his first match of the CAW Era and his URWL HighFlyer Title against Trent Tail, but saw older brother and ex-tag partner Scorpion distract him in order for Tail to pull off a dramatic schoolboy pin that caught Jones completely off guard. After Scorpion lost a hard-fought battle to the undefeated URWL Hardkore Champion, Akina, Jones emerged from the audience and positioned himself to further humiliate his brother. However, such an advantage was short-lived, as Akina, who previously pledged to help Scorpion in the wake of ScorpbrA's breakup, ran down to the ring and attacked Jones, eventually setting up a double-team attack that would see Scorpion recieving his first cheers of the CAW Era. Similar to Perkins and White, Scorpion and Jones will meet in Episode 10's six-man elimination match. After a night of humiliation, Jones looks to bounce back in a big way in Charlotte.
Has Seth Stern Reached His Breaking Point?
After his second straight loss to Jaime Emo in Episode 9's URWL Championship rematch, Seth Stern has lost the #1 Contendership of the URWL Championship, which raises many questions about Stern's thought processes post-Popular Demand. Should Stern have waited to use his rematch clause at Discontent: The Recession, or was his desire to attain the URWL Championship and topple Emo so strong that Episode 9 was his only forseeable option? Regardless, Stern is extremely disappointed in himself and looking to take out his frustrations to anyone in shouting distance. URWL road agents, at a recent house show, labeled him "extremely uncooperative" and "nearly psychotically sociopathic" after his Episode 9 loss. Has Seth Stern finally run out of excuses? Has he finally lost control? There's no doubt he wants another shot at Jaime Emo, but he'll have to get through the equally-controversial Blood in Episode 10 for the currently-vacant #1 Contendership. More information on Stern's growing rage will be elaborated on as Episode 10 draws nearer.
Speaking of Blood...What Was He Thinking?
Blood's taped interview in Episode 9 may be one of the most controversial promos in URWL history. Voicing his displeasure for VinceNeil1981's intervention in his URWL Hardkore Title match against Akina at Popular Demand, the first URWL Champion didn't mince words when it came to his displeasure. Claiming Vince didn't have any business intervening in the contest and blaming him for his eventual defeat, Blood ventured into extremely dangerous territory by publically speaking out against his boss. Rumor has it that VinceNeil1981 was involved in booking Blood against Seth Stern in Episode 10, but will Vince's involvement in the contest be only speculation once the match gets underway?
Carl Load's Attack on Kelsey MacDonald Turns Fans Against E.O.E.
Kelsey MacDonald debuted as an accomplice of The Great White North in Nashville, but soon found herself a victim of a senseless attack by one half of the Experts of Execution, Carl Load. The audience in Nashville was split between both teams throughout the contest, but Load's unprovoked attack quickly turned the audience against E.O.E. and carried GWN on to a successful title defense. Load's action was the trigger that set the once "silent rivalry" between both teams to a breaking point, as both teams now share an intense dislike for one another as the result of one man's actions. Both teams will split and collide in solo action in Episode 10 before their eventual tag team meeting at Discontent: The Recession.
HighFlyer Title victory was "better than sex", says Trent Tail
Trent Tail sits on the sidelines in Episode 10 as foes Victor Cordaro and Taurus continue their long-standing rivalry, but that doesn't mean he's resting. Never at a loss for words, the cocky Tail is celebrating his unlikely HighFlyer Title victory in Episode 9 in a manner only seen by Stanley Cup Champions. "I had a parade thrown for me in Edmonton...either that or I got a little too plastered, rented a limo, opened the sunroof, stood up and held the HighFlyer Title above my head until the cops escorted the limo to the station and had me sign autographs for a few officers. Love my hometown fans." As for his title win? "Oh, shit, man, it was better than sex, better than losing my virginity, better than when I conceived my kids...Cory, man, I have to give you credit...I watched the tape after the match aired and you have got to be the dumbest man on the planet to not see me standing up. So, I did what I had to do, SCHOOL BOY! Un, deux, trois, au revoir. You were smart to wear yellow tights that night, Jonesy, because I think you pissed yourself when you found out I finally ended your winning streak. Thanks for the belt, man, it's beauty." Tail will collide with the winner of Episode 10's HighFlyer Title #1 Contender's Match at Discontent: The Recession...if he can sober up by then.
What? DFS Needs a "Bailout"?
The mysterious and quirky announcement The Downfall Syndicate made during Episode 9's Tag Team Title match between The Great White North and The Experts of Execution left many URWL fans scratching their heads...does this foretell the end of the Downfall Syndicate or just a cry for help? Attempts to reach both Syndicate members as of Episode 9 have failed, leading us to believe that both men's cellular and home phones have been disconnected due to lack of payment. If DFS is indeed "bankrupt" and unable to attend URWL shows, could this mean their "revolution" is losing steam or is it simply a plan to undermine the URWL once again? Who knows? More importantly, who cares?
