Get your popcorn ready, folks, as we have THREE new major WWE Champions. Christian defeated Jack Swagger to win the ECW Championship, Edge defeated John Cena to win the World Heavyweight Championship (and bring it to SmackDown) and Randy Orton (finally) wins the WWE Championship after beating Triple H in a 3-on-3 main event...
...and I couldn't be more happier. No, I didn't see the event and had no idea how good or bad the matches were (I was working on schoolwork, naturally) but this could mean good things for the belts down the road.
1.) Christian has a good reign on ECW and finally gets a much-deserved push, allowing him to appear on Smackdown once he loses the belt in another "talent exchange" and never look back.
2.) Edge has his reign ended by CM Punk in Chicago (as rumored) and Punk finally becomes a Champion of Substance.
3.) Orton now becomes the super-heel we all expected him to be pre-Wrestlemania.
Thoughts?

It pains me to say this but I'm not excited. I should be. I really should be jizzing in my pants over this because I like all these guys and change in the WWE is so rare. The problem is I'm no longer optimistic about WWE booking. Sure they have been dropping the ball for years and this isn't news but I find myself no longer taping shows while I'm at school or even giving the shows my full attention while watching them. I feel detached.
Having said that, well, Christian as ECW champ is ok but that belt and show is an afterthought so I'll just wait and see what they do with it and with Christian since they have failed to book him right since E&C broke up.
I can see decent feuds coming out of this since Christian has excelled immensely as a performer since heading to TNA. Henry, Dreamer, Finley, Swagger, Kidd, Bourne and several others should be good for ECW. At times it's the most enjoyable brand do to the focus on actual wrestling and less gaga booking.
Randy should have won at WM 25 so winning now in a fucking tag match was anticlimactic. It also means we'll have more HHH vs Orton matches in the future ugh. Lets hope that last punt puts HHH off of tv for a while. I need a break from him again. Sadly Punk will never get his revenge on Randy for costing him the title (yet another hole in WWE booking). Batista gets the first title shot. I called it!! *smh* After that there are not more viable challengers. So yea, why should I care?
Edge is champ again. Big show helped him. I dont know what this does for Show since he had beef Edge over who stuffed Vicky's tuna taco better. Why did Show help him? Did Vicky ask him to? Why should I care since they are on different shows (not that that even means anything). And besides Edge will lose the title in a month or two like he always does.
With Cena possibly gone doing a movie this leaves Edge to face Punk (who is hasn't been booked right for over a year) and Taker. SD has no main event faces other than those two. I used main even lightly for Punk. We've seen a Taker feud and I don't want to see it again honestly and I have no faith in them making punk look he belongs in the title picture.
I could rant for ages on this. I already went on too long.I'm just upset with a lot of things. I'm not into wrestling as much as I used to be.

Main Event, you don't think Jericho is main event quality? I mean an Edge/Jericho feud would be fine. and I personally would love to see a Undertaker/Jericho feud.

I love Jericho. I didn't say him because he's a Heel right now. Heel vs Heel matches dont sell ppvs in the WWE Universe.

okay guys I know you're not that much of a Cena fan but he didn't deserved getting chokeslamed into the light. Sure he did. They book Cena like he's tougher than steel. They have to get creative with how they demolish him.

hopefully WWE gives Edge a reign that lasts longer then 2-3 months this time <_< I wanna see him be the first person to retain the title when the mitb holder cashes in
and Orton's champion again oh boy. his last reign was incredibly boring, and since he'll most likley fued with Batista next it'll probably be just as boring.
