ORCHARD PARK, NY: You know how the old saying goes, "fall down seven times, get up eight". Well, after losing Seth Stern, the URWL has signed an unheard-of FOUR new wrestlers to its roster. Each will debut in Episode 5. They are:
TAURUS - Taurus recently left his Mexican promotion to join URWL full-time. He will augment a very unstable HighFlyer division and may go at it with either former foe Victor Cordaro or even the undefeated URWL HighFlyer Champion, CobrA. Goldash007 worked out a long-term contract after "seven hard months of painful negotiation". We'll see if Taurus will rejuvinate a depleted HighFlyer division in time. Rumor has it that Taurus will also have an updated, "americanized" mask and attire, compared to the decidedly Mexican look he had in his only American match at Asphyxiation.
THE GREAT WHITE NORTH - A modern, cutting-edge Tag Team that was recently discovered by Goldash007 while attending an independent wrestling show in Toronto, Ontario over the holidays. Shaun McAndrew, 24 and Kyle Stafford, 22 make up GWN, who have been touring Canada as a tag team for the past three years. Their style is described as "A Canadian Version of the Motor City Machine Guns, with a bit of lucha-libre thrown in the mix". Not only will GWN be a key addition to the Tag Team division, but also may compete individually in HighFlyer Division matchups down the road. Fellow Canadian Kelsey MacDonald is rumored to manage or even to wrestle alongside members of GWN, but nothing official has been reported on the matter.
CECILIA RINCÓN - Described as a "revolutionary force of female lucha libre", Cecilia will debut in Episode 5 with Victor Cordaro, either as a manager or in a mixed tag team. Described as "one of the most determined and intense female wrestlers in Mexico", Cecilia is seen as a good fit for the URWL Womens' Division, as she, along with contemporary Hikari Nakamura, has redefined womens' wrestling in her respective country.
This list does not include recently signed MMA fighter ALEKSANDAR KULESHOV, who is scheduled to make his long-awaited debut in Episode 5.
