I hate this show. I don't even need to go into detail about how bad it is. I'm fuming right now over this little tidbit of news I read today.
If you couldn't tell by my name, I am a huge Motley Crue fan. Usually i'm thrilled when I hear that someone is going to cover a Crue song (a la 2005's "Home Sweet Home" featuring the Crue and Chester Bennington of Linkin Park.) Today though, I wasn't too thrilled when I opened up this email:

Carrie Underwood has recorded a version of Mötley Crüe's "Home Sweet Home" for American Idol. Starting this Wednesday night on American Idol Result Show when the song will be played when contestants are voted off the show and will be available as a digital single on iTunes to purchase on March 10th.
