THE COMMANDER: WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?
ORCHARD PARK, NY: For those in attendance that witnessed the strange attire, mannerisms and actions of former URWL Champion The Commander in his match against Seth Stern during Episode 3 of the URWL on YouTube, there is a large consensus that something strange may be underway in the mind of the URWL legend.
"My wife shielded her eyes at the sight," angry URWL fan and Cheektowaga, NY resident Shawn Powers, 26, states. "Do you expect her to cheer a man who goes out and beats up a girl? I don't give a shit if she's face or heel, or if she's managing Seth Stern or Jaime Emo*...it just makes me sick when a dude wants to go that far."
Jamie Anderson, 30, wife of a U.S. Army private currently stationed in Afghanistan, however, is perplexed by the seeming lack of Army camouflage on The Commander's wrestling attire. "It's one thing that he chose to hit Jesse Slash, but not supporting the troops? That's hypocritical for a man like him."
The former U.S. Army Drill Instructor was not available for comment, but I'll go out on a limb and say that he's making some awfully strange decisions lately. Episode 4 will prove if The Commander can redeem himself in the eyes of the fans as he teams up with URWL Internet Champion Jaime Emo against the team of Seth Stern and URWL Champion !nterogative. Jesse Slash will be at ringside once again to manage the team, and if The Commander plans to erase any lingering suspicion, he should plan to stay as far away from her as possible.
* - Slash was the former manager and girlfriend of Jaime Emo from 2002 until February 2003, when she decided to turn on him at the URWL "Love & Hate 2003" pay-per-view, an incident which eventually lead to Emo suffering a two month long coma due to alcohol poisoning.
