I'm thinking of suspending production diaries for forthcoming episodes unless it's absolutely necessary (e.g. something breaks, gets stolen or other dramatic circumstances). I just think it seems like I'm endlessly advertising the show in these threads and building unnecessary hype. That's just how it comes across in my eyes, and I feel it looks like blatant self-promotion instead of a way of relaying my progress.
If anyone agrees or disagrees, feel free to reply. By the way, Episode 9 production begins this week, so get your Rantboard War entries and commercial requests in ASAP.

i think that reading how far along you are is a good thing. plus its a good way of keeping ppl from complaining...as in "y do you take so damn long", etc.

I also like them. They take away the excuses people have for complaining by giving us an update on how things are going it gives people some assurance that you are actually working on the show. BTW how did you manage to quickly split up PD08 for Veoh?

My opinion on the Production Diary threads changes by the day, it seems, so there's a chance we may see them return. I'm just throwing the idea around, nothing's final as of right now.
As for PD2008 on Veoh, I actually didn't split it up, I simply reduced the video dimensions and bitrate. It still looks decent on my computer but if it ends up looking terrible on the web I may just have to split.

Keep em. It helps me get over the fact that it takes a while. It makes me appreciate it more to know what is going on in the productions.
