ORCHARD PARK, NY: Rumors are currently circulating throughout the professional wrestling community over a possible name-change for URWL HighFlyer Champion CobrA. The reasons for this change are unknown at the moment. However, sources around URWL H.Q. in Orchard Park are reporting that CobrA is looking to revamp his identity as a professional wrestler after cutting ties with his brother and former tag-team partner, Scorpion.
"It doesn't surprise me," says URWL Arena season-ticket holder Pat Wilson, "because CobrA has been awfully selfish as of late. I don't think he wants to stand in his brother's shadow. But that's just my opinion. Who knows what the dude's thinking...he's probably jonesing for attention. Who cares."
The arrogant HighFlyer Champion, at Popular Demand 2008, was visibly shaken and upset after losing to Merle & Hog, attacking Scorpion with a flurry of attacks inside the ring before throwing him through a ringside table. As he arrogantly walked back to the dressing room, the Staples Center booed in anger. If one moment personified CobrA's holier-than-thou mentality, this was it. With his chin held high and the world breathing down his back, the young HighFlyer Champion left Los Angeles a changed man. His life, and the life of his brother, Scorpion, would never be the same.
In Episode 9 of URWL Wrestling, CobrA defends his URWL HighFlyer Title against another "changed man", Trent Tail, while Scorpion looks to attain URWL Hardkore Gold as he faces off against Akina for the fourth time. ScorpbrA may be dead, but the solo careers of both men are only beginning to take flight.
