I've had the leaked version of the album for months now, so it almost lessens my expectations for the actual physical CD release, but I'm anxious to see how Axl fucks this one up and the backlash that results from it.
I'm saying this because fans are expecting that this album will be the best rock album in history after being in development for so long. It has its bright spots (like the amazing "Madagascar", which should be a single) but it won't be anywhere near a classic album. Sure, it'll sell a lot of copies and probably send Best Buy's stock soaring, but there's no way this album is going to be indicative of a new rock revolution, at least IMO.
Oh, well, at least I get free Dr. Pepper out of the whole deal. ;D

Dr. Pepper FTW
But I never have been a big fan of GNR. I don't really care if there album is good or not. Death Magnetic was the best album of the year.

Guns n' Roses have done some high-profile concerts throughout their career in Portugal and Brazil so I'm not surprised. EDIT: Just looked on iTunes, and yes, there is a Portugese rock band named GNR. Wow.

they sucked after use your illusion and guess what......... they still do. corporate, unoriginal, NIN-esque shit.
you'd think they would have something respectable after how long to record, mix, lay tracks.........FIFTEEN YEARS!!!!
