Does anyone plan to buy Madden this year?
I admit, I'm a big NFL 2K5 fan. It's one of the only "older" football games I still play today (thank GOD it's backward compatible on 360). Since 2K lost the license, however, I've been "iffy" about Madden. I bought Madden 06 when I bought my 360 at launch, and it was terrible in retrospect. Madden 07 was just as messy. 08, however, was a step forward for the series. However, the game rendered my excellent Franchise (with real NCAA players imported from NCAA Football 08) null and void due to a unforgivable glitch. I gave up on Madden 08 at that point.
However, Madden 09 is getting me excited. It shows they've retooled many aspects of the game graphically and revamped the presentation and gameplay. I hope it's worth the 60 dollars I plan to plop down for it.
