I played Wii at my cousin's house a few months back and I thought it was great, so I ended up purchasing one this morning...I don't intend to buy many games for it, however, since third party support on that system is horrible. The two games I'm interested in buying for the system are Super Smash Bros. Brawl and one of the upcoming football titles (either Madden or NCAA 09). Other than that, I'm interested in buying some used GameCube titles like Day of Reckoning 2, and a few of the older Resident Evil titles. Other than that, I'm satisfied with Wii Sports. The game has the potential to be seriously addictive in my eyes if GTA IV suddenly stops working or if my 360 gets the RROD (which means no URWL for a while... ...I don't want to think about that). So, anyone have one? Any good games for that or the 'Cube that I should try?

Bought Super Smash Bros. Brawl yesterday and played it while the vids were rendering...I'm putting that game in the "videogame crack" category with Grand Theft Auto IV right now, it's addictive as all hell! And I love the bonus features as well, all the unlockables give the game an enormous amount of depth...for a fighter with cutesy Nintendo characters. There's just so much bonus content in this game. The "milestones" feature, while extremely limited, is probably my favorite out of all of them...either that or the unlockable background music for every level.

BTW, just bought a Cube controller and WWE Wrestlemania X8...honestly, the game wasn't as crappy as I remembered it (used to hate it in the day for some reason). Not the best wrestling simulation I've ever played, but it surprisingly does some things better than SVR 2008 even does, and that's really saying something. I'll be getting DOR 2 by the end of the week if all goes as planned.

Bought a used copy of TimeSplitters 2 today...my favorite first-person shooter of all time. I can't wait to go home and start re-making my infamous "Slaughterhouse" level again...
...BTW, the "Slaughterhouse" is a one-room map with two levels. I have the map permanently embedded in my mind...the second level only consists of a small ledge on the north side of the room connected to the bottom floor by two ramps. On that ledge are about 5 or 6 turrets that never run out of ammo. It was a fun map on the original Xbox...let's see if it retains that quality on the GameCube/Wii version...
