But no film is "The Deuce". There is only one Deuce, and he is either THE SHIT or SHITTY depending on your stance... Anyhoo, did see Iron Man a few days ago with a few friends and I was surprised. Going into it, I was apprehensive, anticipating another Hulk or Spider Man but it was much more intelligent and connected to reality than those films were. I liked the implementation of the Middle Eastern conflict in there, it seemed like a war movie until he started making "the prototype". The last movie I bought was Tommy (the movie based on the Who album). It's a very confusing film but I believe it works better as a series of startling images rather than a coherent film (almost like The Wall, but less depressing and more strange). Even though the Who was involved with the soundtrack of the film, I think they bastardized a lot of album tracks by using non-singers. The cinematography is unbelievable, though, it's a real art film at heart.

All the movies I've seen lately have been released quite some time ago. I haven't had HBO for years but my dorm does so I tape everything in and watch when I have time. Good movies would be Jarhead, The Suburbans, Just Friends, Serenity, and several others I can't remember.
One real head scratcher that all my dorm mates love was "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas". I read the book a few years ago since it was an assigned reading for a English course and I've wanted to watch the movie ever since. One thing I must say, the movie has no real plot. I was a little disappointed. They all tell me I'm crazy for saying the movie has no plot and why I ask them what the plot is, they just say the same thing, "It's fucking great." "It's the best movie ever." Or simply, "Drugs." The movie was funny at points but I was waiting for it to build up to something. It never did.

Ironman was pretty good I've seen it twice and I liked it better the second time cause I could follow it easier. BTW: In my stance he is SHITTY

Spoilers ahead?
Just saw Indiana Jones a few nights back. It was great...except for the aliens. What the fuck? I thought the Indy series was supposed to have a firm base in reality despite all the supernatural stuff he encounters. Other than that, it was gold. I even liked the whole "survives nuclear test in refrigerator" bit. It was good for comic relief but in retrospect it should have been cut out to appease the obese fanboys of the world, since there's a million of them right now complaining their asses off on the IMDB board...
