I'm not going down the route of "text on a screen" or people standing in the ring without microphones. I've seen it done on other programs and it just looks wrong to me. There has to be a better way other than going into Season Mode, and I'll see if I can find it, since so many people are demanding in-ring stuff. I tried this out with the LiveLine, basically me "talking" to URWL Wrestlers, but I haven't gotten around to making another one yet.

I've figured out some ways:
1 - you can edit a microphone into the videos.
2 - you can record some season mode story lines and then edit them to fit well.
3 - use some taunts.

Good ideas, they can be done, but all of them are insanely time-consuming (minus the taunting idea). I have a promo segment planned for Episode 5, so I'll take these ideas into consideration.

And yeah, the season mode thing takes a lot of time, but it can look well. Oh, by the way, when you can, get on MSN please. I've got to talk with you.

That's a definite future plan. Look for the reintroduction of ScorpbrA as a full-time tag team sometime soon...

You should bring Barry back and put him in the Hardkore tournment or you could renue an old rivalry and have Salvtore VS Barry White at Digital Mayhem 2008 just some thoughts

Hate to be the first to post this but..
I travel and recently got a iPod. Maybe you could release URWL Shows compatible with the iPod through this site.

Basically, I convert all of the matches into MP4 format before I post them to YouTube but I'm not sure if they have the right iPod Codec (H.624 or something along those lines). I'll upload a few matches to MegaUpload - if they don't work I think iTunes will be able to put the right codec on them with the "convert video" option they have in there.

But, if you want to convert a video from YouTube into iPod optimized video, go to www.vixy.net/ . It's fast, easy and you don't have to download much.

I don't think "What Can We Do Better" applies to this but...I am not totally sure what episode it was, maybe 2 or 3, you did a interview with Shane B Perkins and that was the only time you did that....and I think you should do more of those because those kinds of things are the things (along with backstage interviews, confrontations in the ring, Etc.) that start suspense and hype in the shows instead of just wrestling match after match after match (I dont mean to bring any offense either and if I am I'm sorry) and then every now and then have shows (CEO's Corner) to tell us what is goin on at the PPV's. We (And I mean me and probably others out there) want suspense and shocking things to happen....oh and every now and then throw in some Promos for you're upcoming PPV's, Injury Returns, and maybe, a debut of Taurus of 2. And possibly some wrestlers in the ring (That r supposed to be in a match) talking like Big B does in DWA.

I will not do in-ring promos that are unrealistic, such as text on screen or a computer-generated (text-to-speech) voice. I will try to make as many character voices as possible (if I run into any problems I have a few guys that'll do voices for me). In-ring promos are among the hardest things to portray realistically without going into story mode. I will NOT use the "text on screen" method SMF and DWA use.
I want to do in-ring promos but don't expect them in the next episode (despite what I've said before) just because I think it'll take a lot of effort. It isn't as simple as "superimposing microphones in wrestler's hands" or two wrestlers repeatedly taunting one another (although that seems the most logical).

I tried the text on screen and I just felt it wasn't that good. I just wished that I had enough range in my voice to have done more characters.

I've got a program called Nero Wave Editor that is really good, and it can make voice changes easly. I already have Wave Editor (I bought the entire Nero suite) so I'll check out the filters on it. Cool Edit Pro 2's features are plentiful, however, so there are many different options.
