Although I'm amazed that 85% of the comments are positive (thanks, guys) about most of the URWL's matches, is there anything we could be doing better?
Some of the negative criticism I've seen in comments center around, mainly:
1.Commentary ("rowdy" or "annoying" according to comments) 2.CAW Originality (too generic-looking according to one comment) 3.Bad Spots/Repetitive Moves (especially in Emo/Stern match from Asphyxiation)
Use this thread to tell me what I need to do better or concentrate on improving in order to make the URWL better for everyone. I can't change everything I do but if you have any advice or annoying issues about the production or presentation of the show, feel free to air your concerns.
Don't worry, I won't shoot you down if there's something I disagree with in your post.

your matchs are very VERY long (15-20 minutes) for me would have to be shorter (5-10 minutes) About the match length...I've always been a fan of epic matches that build up slowly and end with a perfectly placed spot when the wrestlers are incapable of flying around the ring. Matches like Wrestlemania XXI's Angle/Michaels contest are choreographed perfectly - length is a key factor in making contests like this more epic and memorable. This isn't necessarily the case with every long URWL match, but it's able to preserve the realism we're striving for. The length works to good effect in the Stern/Emo ladder match from Asphyxiation. Yes, although there's a lot of slow moments in the match it all culminates in this "holy shit" ending no one really sees coming, especially since Stern just beats the living hell out of Emo for about 7/8ths of the match. I know that matches in the URWL undercard shouldn't be that long, and that's why I keep those introductory matches pretty short. I usually reserve the 20+ minute "epic matches" for the upper midcard and main event matches (with a few exceptions). Finally, I know I briefly touched upon this but I know the longer matches tend to be paced slowly. I understand this entirely. I'm working to fix this as much as possible so that you just aren't staring at dead air for five minutes before anything spectacular happens.

the Stern/Emo ladder match from Asphyxiation was perfect but, for example, the match Merle & Hog vs. Downfall Syndicate (in my opinion) was to long and boring (sorry) other example was the match Busiwa Tanao vs. Akina, a short and good match, whit a lot of amazing moments...
Thanks for responding

I wanted to suggest a URWL monthly magazine posted on the forum some of the RP e-wrestling feds have one thanks for hearing me out Sorry, but can you elaborate a bit on that? If it's talking about angles, I'm trying that out on the "Angle Hype" forum. If it means going into Photoshop and designing pages, then I think it'd be an interesting idea...if I have some time on my hands in the future I may try something like that out, actually...

I'm not familiar with the whole womens' puro scene overseas...Richard, are those people you named real wrestlers?
If so, I can't make them. This is strictly a fantasy league. I'll make more women's talent but you guys just have to wait for that. I can make exhibition matches (meaning not in specific cards) after Discontent if you guys really want them.
And Richard, what exactly was the point of your last post?

I'm not accepting any other person's CAWS. Sorry. This is strictly a spectator's league.
The reason why is because I don't want to control egos. This happened in my e-fedding days and to other CAW league owners I know around the net and it's a major annoyance of mine. Not to say that you or the many others who have requested have been pushy or annoying in relation to their CAWs but there may be some that just don't have the respect for my decisions regarding their wrestlers (jobbing, etc).

There's always stuff that comes up. But it's going to be a definite with Digital Mayhem, that's for sure. I'm not posting another PPV like I'm posting Discontent. However, I will take it into consideration for the actual events, setting dates and deadlines that the entire event must be up by. That may please the few that are complaining.
