At Arrival, we saw what the future generation had to offer and they did not disappoint. We witnessed the rise of many new faces and the crowning of new champions. Together, they were a successful and beloved tag team. They're also responsible for some of the most violent matches in wrestling. It's clear they've been textbook "best friends, better rivals" before, but how much will that change when the NXT Championship is on the line at TakeOver? The stakes could not be any higher between these two men, and if National E-Wrestling Day 4 was any indication of where the NXT Champion stands, he's raring to go. We heard for weeks about an NXT Superstar who was set to make his big debut at Arrival. Just as we thought it was Baron Corbin, who had an impressive debut match that night, the NXT Universe was stunned when they saw the former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Prince Devitt, now known as Finn Balor, live in the arena! Finn Balor stood face-to-face with Malik Brown and seemed to signal his intentions to challenge The Mayor of the Violence Party, a man chomping at the bit to prove himself against the best NXT has to offer.
