The question is: Why couldn't they have done it last night? And why did Edge have to drop the strap?
I guess we'll never understand.

Edge is most likely gonna start fueding with Triple H for the WWE title as for Punk i dont know why they did it like this. I mean they could have built it up like the RVD vs. Cena match afew years ago and help Punk get Main event level fan support by fueding with a main event Heel, but i guess there happy with him getting slightly better then midcard reactions
and now JBL is challenging Punk

RAW needs ratings. "Anything can happan on RAW" WATCH! That's the reason they did it on RAW. My jaw was unhinged when I saw it happen. Partually because I'm a ROH man, they have been jobbing Punk more times then needed, he needs a better push and I thought he'd be the first to lose when cashing the MITB.

I doubt they'll give MITB to someone to lose with it. I was very surprised when this happened I think it would have been better if he cashed in at NOC as well. But I can see why he didn't they had Edge claim 'ultimate' victory over Batista Sunday and they did not want to spoil that by making him lose. I agree it was stupid especially where they placed it in the show. But it is cool to have the World Heavyweight title back on RAW, lets just hope they don't let Cena turn it into a Spinning piece of SHIT!!

Cena shouldn't win the WHC until a heel obtains it. I just hope it happens later rather than sooner. I'm thinking that Cena will actually team with or ally himself with Punk after Monday night's run-in with Cryme Time. A face-versus-face main event with Cena and Punk isn't likely anytime soon. If it is, we basically know who'll lose the match before it even starts. So...where do we go from here? Which heels should make a run for Punk's belt? JBL or Orton seem like the best contenders at this point, but as soon as the Bash (or Summerslam) is over, JERICHO should be the best choice. His feud with Michaels should be over soon. Combine that with the heat he's been getting as a heel lately and you may have a great main event. If WWE knows what they're doing, they should pair up these two for a Summerslam or post-Summerslam angle. Their ring chemistry in their few matches together has been wonderful. So why not let them have a go after the Y2J/Michaels feud subsides? It'll be a much better option than a face-versus-face main event like Punk/Cena or Punk/Batista in my honest opinion.

I don't see Batista turning heel for a while. They would have done it with the HBK feud. They should do something with him though. I think they will keep him face to bank on Cena v Batista which is a watered down modern day Rock v Austin.

they could easily turn Batista in a fued with Cena, and how would it be a watered down version? that atmosphere alone would make the match watchable
