Like Taarna mounting a mount over the barren landscapes of Heavy Metal Magazine, here are the top stories surrounding the seventh episode of URWL Wrestling...
A New Name, A New Outlook, A New Attitude[/u]
For better or worse, the URWL is off YouTube and looking to evolve into the wrestling show it always dreamed of becoming. Without time or space restrictions to limit it, the URWL will now sport a new format and a brand new presentation in its current iteration, and will look to debut simultaneously on Veoh.com and Google Video, as well as in downloadable form on FileFront.
A Star-Studded Main Event[/u]
One of the biggest main events in recent memory will take place on Episode 7 of URWL Wrestling. New URWL Internet Champion Barry White and new URWL Champion Jaime Emo are two men with revitalized careers. Nothing can stand in their way...except for two headaches that can't seem to subside. For Barry White, the chance to merely lock horns with !nterogative could mean a chance to show the world he's finally back at 100% after a devastating neck injury at !nterogative's hands. Seth Stern, fed up with Jaime Emo's rise to fame after his so-called "lucky win" at Asphyxiation 2007, returned at Digital Mayhem to exert his apparent superiority over the URWL once again. These four men are no strangers to eachother and are sure to provide URWL fans with a dramatic tag team elimination contest in the main event.
Taurus - Not Booked For A Reason?[/u]
After the results of the "Kansas City Screwjob" that cost Taurus the URWL HighFlyer Title, the infamous Victor Cordaro looks to take on new fan favorite Trent Tail. As part of an ongoing investigaton by the URWL Board of Directors, Taurus can not interfere in any of Cordaro's matches. Because the Staff wants to deal with the "screwjob" systematically and democratically, Taurus will face suspension if he puts the matter into his own hands. But will the threat of suspension be enough to keep Taurus away from the ring in Episode 7?
Tag Team "Mini-Tournament" Kicks Off With The Return of ScorpbrA[/u]
In Episode 6, they united to take Taurus out of the URWL Hardkore Title Tournament. Now, in Episode 7, ScorpbrA looks to gain their first win as a tag team against the winless Merle & Hog in the first match of the URWL Tag Team "Mini-Tournament" to determine the #1 Contenders of The Downfall Syndicate's URWL Tag Team Titles. This will be the first time Scorpion and Merle Haggard Junior met since Episode 5, when Scorpion brutally assaulted Haggard in the Prudential Center parking lot, taking him out of the URWL Hardkore Title Tournament. Later in the event, The Great White North and The Experts of Execution collide in a rematch of Episode 5, when EOE fell to the upstart tag team from Toronto in a match for the #1 Contendership of the URWL Tag Team Titles. Because of this, Carl Load and J.J. Brown look to force the once-dominant Great White North into the losers bracket.
Akina Preparing For Carnage In First Title Defense[/u]
The seemingly unstoppable Akina looks to continue his dominant winning streak and make his first defense of the URWL Hardkore Title against Downfall Syndicate member Adrien Carnage. URWL Hardcore Rules, however, state that no manager can accompany a wrestler to ringside, meaning Adrien must collide with the "Monster From Maui" without any help from his fiendish accomplice, Wes Tomerka. Can Akina continue his streak or will DFS add another URWL championship belt to their collection?
Is Kelsey MacDonald "RINCOWNABLE"?[/u]
After dominating the rest of the womens' division in Episode 6, Kelsey MacDonald came up embarrassingly short in her effort to dethrone URWL Womens' Champion "The Cyberpunk" Jesse Slash at Digital Mayhem. Her opponent in Episode 7, Cecilia Rincon, is coming off a dominant victory over recently-departed Hikari Nakamura at Digital Mayhem. If Cecilia successfully defeats MacDonald, she increases her chances to meet Jesse Slash for the second time in her URWL career at Popular Demand 2008. However, the fans will have the final say...
Four Men Collide For a Chance at The Commander[/u]
At Digital Mayhem 2008, Blood lost his URWL North American Championship to the returning Commander. In a similar result, Salvatore lost his URWL Internet Ttle to the returning Barry White. Aleksandar Kuleshov, on the other hand, remains undefeated after claiming a victory against Merle Haggard Junior...and then, there's Fusion, still title-less after all this time, struggling to produce the win that pushes him over the top. The winner will earn the #1 Contendership for the URWL North American Championship and face The Commander at URWL Popular Demand 2008.
