RPW Officials have received the post-event medical evaluations for all participants involved with the Ground Zero Super Card. We regret to announce that two RPW superstars have been placed on the injured reserved list.
1. Justin Powell. After a brutal confrontation with Peter Mulready inside a 15 foot high steel cage, Justin received a large head wound and sustained numerous blows to the skull. He received a one and a half pints of blood at a local New Orleans hospital before being discharged to his home in Milwaukee where he will undergo concussion tests. His return date is not known yet, but he is expected to miss the next episode of RPW REDLINE.
2. Taylor Garstecki. After a competitive match with Fusion of the URWL, Taylor was unable to leave the ring under his own power and was complaining about pain in his left leg. RPW medical staff immediately took Taylor to a local New Orleans hospital for an MRI and found that he has torn his ACL during the match. He will need surgery and is expected to be out for a number of months.
