Episode 7 was great.. I've been watching your league for several months and I actually look forward to it more than actual wrestling thats on T.V. and you definitely inspired me to create my own league GWR. I am curious to know as to how you went about making Stern and Cordaro talk, but In a way I kind of do NOT want to know LOL because it will kill the magic of it all lol. But you definitely set the bar for caw feds with the promos and commercial breaks.. keep up the good work man!

Are you going to post your 'booker's opinion' like you did for Digital Mayhem, or is that reserved for Supercards?

Are you going to post your 'booker's opinion' like you did for Digital Mayhem, or is that reserved for Supercards? You asked, and you shall receive... ScorpbrA vs. Merle & Hog: I thought it dragged on way too long. I felt that, if i tightened up the durations between tags, I could have made the match a lot faster and would have finished the match in good time. Plus, there wasn't much logical build up to the Hog Tie finish, which I basically kicked myself over while editing. It seemed like it happened out of nowhere. The aftermath, by the way, sets up something I've wanted to do for a long time... Trent Tail vs. Victor Cordaro: Match of the Night IMO. Like most HighFlyer matches, it was as fun to produce as it is to watch. Tons of two-counts, moonsaults and reversals as always. At the end, I wanted Taurus's interference to mimic Victor's interference at Mayhem, and I think it worked pretty well...except, of course, the interferer gets disqualified this time around. It was a good way, IMO, to fire up the old Taurus/Cordaro angle once again. But in terms of match quality, this is the best this event gets. Fusion/Kuleshov/Blood/Salvatore: It was my second favorite match of the event, and with good reason...the AI finally decided to show up! It's probably my favorite four-way match so far, despite the AI controlling two men. My favorite moments either had to be the "double submission" spot or the reoccuring "last man standing" spot I always point out in the commentary. This is designed to kick off a big angle between Kuleshov and Commander that will start in Episode 8 and last through many supercards (that's if it doesn't get stale). I wanted to do a "modern cold war" angle (a far cry from your standard Nikolai/Hogan feud, mind you) since Russia still seems to make the news with some of their iffy post-cold-war relations with the United States. The Great White North vs. E.O.E.: I know, you're probably thinking..."WHY DID YOU HAVE GWN LOSE AFTER PUSHING THEM FOR SO LONG?" Remember Episode 5? E.O.E. lost a #1 Contender's Match to GWN which some YouTube viewers complained about. Something along the lines of, "Why would you give a title shot to a debuting tag team?" Well, this is my answer. GWN now needs to earn a chance to compete at PD2008 against ScorpbrA in the losers' bracket match. Also, I wanted to demonstrate the fact that E.O.E. were still pretty humiliated after losing against the debuting GWN in Episode 5, and by beating them, they had retained bragging rights (or, at least, a potential #1 Contendership). With that being said, I thought the match was below-average at best. Like the Merle and Hog/ScorpbrA contest, I think it dragged on too long and didn't provide the 'shock' ending I was looking for. Cecilia Rincón vs. Kelsey MacDonald: My favorite finish out of all seven matches on the card. I tried to put little clues out there as to why Cecilia would kick out of the Schoolgirl Killer, the most obvious one being that Kelsey wasted too much time taunting instead of going for the cover directly after she hit the move. As for Cecilia's finisher, the move isn't called "Rincowned". It's only an exclamation made by an announcer for now. Like I said, this should put her over for Popular Demand voting (what are you waiting for? ). Akina vs. Adrien Carnage: Apart from some great spots (Adrien's elbowdrop through the table being one), I think the actual post-match incident may have eclipsed the match itself. You can make the argument that the match was only made just to bring Akina and Blood together, which is valid, but I just wish the match could have flowed a bit better so that Akina's comeback would be a bit more dramatic with a better buildup. It was an OK match, I guess. Standard hardcore fare. Jaime Emo and Barry White vs. Seth Stern and !nterogative: Like the rest of the tag matches (noticing a pattern here?), I think this one dragged on a bit too long. However, I felt pretty good about the pace of the second half of the match. If the entire first half was a bit shorter, with more tags and a quicker pace, I'd be a lot happier with the result. I just think the "rapid-fire elimination" in order to get Stern and Emo together as the last two men in the match was pretty weak after such a long period without an elimination. It also seemed !ntero was eliminated too quickly after Barry in my opinion. Of course, you could say "Well, Emo may just have been really angry in that case", but I think it was just a case of me trying to force the end of the match quicker than I wanted to. The Emo/Stern ending was great in my opinion. It's just that it took forever to get to that point. The tag team matches really brought down the event in my eyes, especially the first match of the night, which just dragged and dragged. While I was capturing each tag match in Episode 8, I always kept "quality over quantity" in the back of my mind. Hopefully they'll be an improvement over Episode 7's. The Tail/Cordaro match was a blast to play, and it came off really well in editing. I love the faster-paced matches you can make with SVR, it's definitely one of the game's biggest strengths. Also, I think I need to emphasize the fact that the match should be as important as the angle that surrounds it. It's all right to have interference in certain matches, but it's even better if it comes off a good match. This is done to great effect in Tail/Cordaro but only done "marginally well" in Akina/Carnage. I thought it was a good show, standard "weekly show" material. It shouldn't outshine the types of matches supercards produce, but on its own merits, I think it did its job.

Trent Tail wearing the "Fuck You Tube" sign was perfect. The DFS entrances keep getting better and better.
