LISBON, POR: Good evening, ladies and gentleman. My name is Rated, Managing Director of the Virtual Wrestling Association and one-fifth of the Rantboard Network affiliates. After everything that went down at SWF Dark Horizon in Atlanta, Georgia, I decided to wait a couple of weeks before publishing this official statement regarding not only Dark Horizon but all precedent events that took place in SWF programing which leaded us to the six-man Main Event.
When URWL wrestler Cory Jones hijacked the SWF ReVenge! live feed, I saw a man with ambition. A man with the desire of inciting change in the direction the product was headed at the time. My support for the Legitimate Wrestling Revolution began there. I gave Jones the opportunity no one else was willing to. I believed in his message. Upon Mrs. Blue's invitational to all RBN affiliates to compete in SWF programing, I could only think of a man who was equally young and enthusiastic about this business like no one else. That man was none other than VWA's KENZO. It was already a challenge for KENZO to adapt to a completely different environment in the South Western wrestling circuit, the bigger challenge was to represent VWA with honor and respect. KENZO overcame both challenges. Both opponents and announcers undermined his in-ring abilities initially, but KENZO clearly stated that he would take none of that when he went one on one with the many greats SWF has to offer.
The Legitimate Duo was my iniciative, or else I wouldn't have been the Advocate for Legitimate Wrestling. Some of you may see this as hypocritical from my part considering I stood for Mutual Respect ever since the Rantboard Network was founded, but I had to make a decision of my own upon being labeled as an invader when that clearly was not the case. I wouldn't be able to tolerate being yet another victim of the system. The system had to fall down. The first man to fall down was Alex Knight after both KENZO and Cory Jones came out victorious in both their respective matches at SWF X-Tra against the "Impact Maker", who certainly earned both mine and KENZO's respect after the six-man Main Event at SWF Dark Horizon. It was only one Supercard antecedent to that event, SWF High Stakes, where KENZO competed in the historical High Stakes match as the entrant number twenty, overcoming Jay Curry and taking a seasoned veteran named Sam Bratton to the limit with the ambition of becoming the number one contender for the SWF World Championship. Who else participated in the High Stakes match was Jason Brigade, the official representative of WWR upon Jackie Blue's invitational.
WWR and VWA were once considered sister promotions back in 2008, as both were just breaking through the business and were looking to gain notoriety in their own. I was aware of Jason Brigade's proficiency at the time and specially now six years later. Even though I clearly stated that SWF's PG-13 should be replacing Brigade's position at the Dark Horizon Main Event, it was for the solely reason that PG-13 appeared to be on the same page with KENZO and Cory Jones. And as Jackie Blue mentioned, PG-13 fooled me like none other. However we were going to war. We had to fight with what we had in hands. Team RBN versus Team SWF. Cory Jones, KENZO and Jason Brigade versus Alex Knight, Kyle Andrews and Mike Kizzar. Everything was going according to planned with the constant tag team action from the Legitimate Duo keeping Jason Brigade fresh for the decisive moment. Unfortunately for Jones that was not the case, deciding to take on his own Andrews and Kizzar, eliminating Jason Brigade out of the match. One man's decision cost the victory for Team RBN, VWA and the Legitimate Wrestling Revolution. I still do have thought and consideration for Cory Jones, but my support for Legitimate Wrestling ended there. We're two weeks past Dark Horizon and I still can't believe it. With or without Jason Brigade, Jackie Blue had a scheme in mind, which she pulled off successfully. The Man in Black. Damage. All those empty threats via Twitter, it was Damage all along. Blue wanted to guarantee that Team SWF would come out victorious by all means necessary, and they did. Did the war come to an end? It's just getting started. Jackie Blue, Damage or whoever who strikes at us will receive proper retaliation. It's time for a new hope.
