Short Biography
One of the more obscure signings in URWL history, Goldash's need for the first-ever female URWL referee led him, along with Senior Official Richard Kahn, to Croatia, where Danijela Talinovic practiced her craft. A former wrestler with a growing reputation in the small Balkan wrestling industry, Talinovic proves that gender is no barometer of one's passion for refereeing. Talinovic is extremely letter-of-the-law. Once she sees a "disqualifiable offense", she doesn't hesitate to end the match. Moreover, she doesn't let talent --- male or female --- boss her around. She wants to call the match right down the middle and isn't afraid of pissing the wrong person off in the process. She does her job and waits for her next opportunity, which is all you can ask for.
Talinovic still struggles with the English language but her communication skills have improved to an effective degree ever since emigrating to the United States. For now, she only shares allegiance with her superiors, preferring to handle business instead of making friends. A return to the ring as an active competitor is not out of the question, but, for now, Talinovic is proud to bring her orthodox, no-nonsense method to the Unnecessary Roughness Wrestling League. She will be ready to referee the URWL Women's Division when the promotion debuts its expanded staff of referees later in Season 3.
