You're all pretty much aware of the highly negative fan reaction --- on the Internet but most notably in person --- toward the 2014 Royal Rumble, so I'll make this short and sweet: where does WWE go from here?
Is this a sign of WWE dropping the ball on one of it's most popular wrestlers or are we all just marks for not seeing Batista's victory coming?
...or is all of this a clever, $60-per-person work to get Daniel Bryan into a triple threat situation at Wrestlemania? Hmmm....

People didn't see Batista's win coming? It's been universally assumed Batista would win when it was announced he'd be in the match.

This is one of the first times I've seen something like this transcend the IWC and totally turn a live audience against the show. So much to talk about:
Yes, I figured that out the moment he was announced as returning, but many of us still have the idea that "anything can happen in the World Wrestling Federation WWE" and stuff that you think makes sense may just be speculation.
Then again, what people thought made sense (Bryan being tremendously over enough to win) was all speculation (Sunday's Royal Rumble match).
Still, at least put the guy in there. If this is all a work, he's probably going to hit the ring tomorrow and cut a worked shoot on The Authority and...yeah, wishful thinking.
We'll see what happens from here on out. It may not have been the result everyone wanted, but it's something people will talk about, positively or otherwise, for a long time to come.

The ending was a joke.
I loved the crowd booing the shit out of the match when Rey came out.

I'm glad Sheamus returned. I'm not glad it wasn't Reigns winning.

Reigns got over as fuck. That and the Wyatt vs Bryan match were the only things that came out good from the rumble for me.

Reigns is over as hell and I love it. Byran and Wyatt stole the show right out of the gate. I guess I expected Batista to win but I was hoping Del Rio would cost him the match and those two would work into a program.

I honestly don't care right now, I'm getting to the point where I don't even want to watch and be disappointed again. For the first time ever I have no desire whatsoever to watch Wrestlemania at the moment. If they don't get the damn wake up call Pittsburgh was giving them last night then they truly don't give two shits about the fans or the product.
