On behalf of myself and the Rantboard Network affiliates, we would like to wish your community a Happy Holiday season! 2013 was a very good year for all of us, and 2014 is set to reach new heights with all the joyful programming we have planned for both parties.
January 20th, 2013 marked the inception of the Rantboard Network, formerly the URWL Rantboard. An affiliation between Goldash, DevildrummerX and myself (and their respective leagues), three men who knew each other throughout several years allowed to create this bond and expand our community based on common principles and mutual respect. One of the many goals we had was to develop a home not only for us as affiliates, but for you as the CAW community.
In March 1st, 2013 we introduced our forth affiliate, the Southwestern Wrestling Federation. The SWF (as a CAW league) had started quite some years ago as well, but separately from the entire CAW wrestling community. When they discovered us two years ago, everything changed. Not only the SWF had a different approach to CAW shows of which we all could learn from, they were able to pick up stuff from the community as well, allowing their product to reach new levels overall. This affiliation came to change the landscape of the Rantboard Network, eventually causing a conflict between all four RBN leagues and how far it went.
However, all stories have an end to it. In Atlanta, Georgia at SWF Dark Horizon, Team RBN will square off against Team SWF, where two men from both teams are yet to be announced. Both Cory Jones and KENZO have scored a victory over Alex Knight, which on paper tells us that the Legitimate Duo may have the advantage in this match-up. Regardless, don't count the SWF Champion out. Mike Kizzar is World Champion for a reason, and he's one of the best the SWF has to offer. The stakes couldn't be higher for this 3-man Tag Team match scheduled at SWF Dark Horizon, and I urge you to stay tuned for more information to come in the upcoming weeks.
