The final ReVenge before Mind Games VII saw a lot of excitement going into the big event. From the explosive opening match featuring all four combatants for the Femme Division Championship to Mike Kizzar winning the final spot in the SureShot finals, it was a night of great action.
Only 2 days away from defending her championship in a Fatal Four Way match at Mind Games, Carmen Madison found herself in another match with her three opponents, a tag team match on ReVenge. And though the tag team dynamic was already in question with Kiwi and Fate, it was Williams who ultimately provided the big surprise of the match, turning on Madison and leaving her to take the loss to Kiwi, a move that was both shocking and expected, as there would be no friends come Mind Games.
The SureShot tournament had begun to reach its conclusion, with the two semi-final matches taking place on ReVenge. In those matches, John Pirtle defeated the up and comer Alex Knight, while Mike Kizzar beat Chas Dohanich to set up their match at Mind Games. The question on everyone's lips was who would win the first ever SureShot contract, a contract that allowed the owner to challenge for the SWF Championship at any time they wished?
The final shots were fired in the ongoing feud between PG13 and Daniel Santoy. After weeks of ducking the future hall of famer by appearing "via satellite" from his Portland area home, PG13 once again appeared on the big screen to deliver a message to Santoy. This time however, he found himself on the receiving end as Santoy attacked him in his home, the two brawling until the feed was cut in one of the more visceral moments of season 2, setting up their no disqualification match at Mind Games VII.
And finally, the war between Kirby and Kyle Andrews over the SWF Championship reached fever pitch. With the match type finally announced as Hell in a Cell, Kyle Andrews took to the ring, believing himself safe from the Green Monster. He miscalculated though, and found himself chokeslammed through the ring into a flaming hole by Kirby, an obvious punishment for his actions the week before, when he decimated Kirby's manager, Cole VanZant.
The stage was set... who would come out victorious in Baltimore?
