URWL Digital Mayhem has been delayed one week to May 3rd, 2008. This was done because of a final paper and exams I need to study for - this is the last week of the college semester here at the University at Buffalo and I haven't edited or captured the entire event because of that.
Those of you who were around here for Discontent remember I postponed the event after advertising a specific date as well. I know I've been pushing the 26th but now it seemed like a bad idea. The 3rd is a much better opportunity for me to edit and capture the rest of the event with minimal interference from more important matters (I have one final paper due on the 6th and an final exam on Monday the 5th but it shouldn't interfere with anything since school offically ends on the 28th).
To those that may be pissed off, please keep in mind that everything I do is subject to delay because I control what I produce. I understand the importance of setting concrete deadlines and how it may kill some momentum, but I honestly can not produce an event worth watching under the conditions I am currently in. You have to understand that. If you do the stupid thing and run your mouth off or complain, you are only making yourself ignorant. This is for YOUR benefit, not an excuse to cover for laziness, because it's never been that way. Because it's either producing a good YouTube CAW Wrestling event or producing good grades. It's possible to do both, sure, but I need a lot of free time. Making these videos takes TIME and DEDICATION. Those who produce an event every week obviously don't have many commitments in real life.
To those of you who have understood me all along, thank you for doing so. To those of you who will complain about how this is another big letdown for a much-hyped event, well, tough luck. You have to be patient.
