Bret's my favorite wrestler of all time, but I disagree with his assertion that HHH/Taker was "mediocre" or "3/10". Sure, it wasn't exactly MOTY material, but the crowd, the near falls, and the atmosphere means more than just the raw technicality. Bret, understandably, says great things about Punk, comparing him to Mysterio in his prime (maybe a bit of a stretch).
Given Bret's history with Hunter I don't think this surprises me one bit. Watch him not get a guest appearance on Raw for the next five years.

I saw that interview, I wasn't surprised one bit by what he said, any of what he said

I don't even understand why are people comparing Alberto Del Rio to Bret Hart.

I'm not sure about Del Rio but I can buy a lot of the Punk comparisons. He's a no-nonsense guy in the ring, much like Hart was and is extremely good at telling stories.
Whoever told Del Rio to implement lucha libre moves into his arsenal as a face is soundly mistaken. Sure, he's capable of executing them, but it just looks *off* to me. Maybe it's because it's coming from someone his size and not necessarily a lightweight/highflyer type.

I'm a big Alberto Del Rio fan now he's turned babyface. His heel character was getting extremely stale and I felt as though it made his in-ring ability suffer as well. Del Rio is a seasoned veteran in Mexico and he's finally getting a chance to show us exactly what "brought him to the dance" so to speak, showing off his lucha-libre heritage. I know as Goldash said it may seem "off" due to his size, but that's what he did for years before coming to the WWE when wrestling under the mask.
Now, on topic with Bret Hart - I feel he's somewhat delusional in thinking Triple H isn't a good athlete, and that his match with The Undertaker was mediocre. But then again, I'm a big fan of Triple H, and The Undertaker is my favourite of all time, so perhaps I'm bias, but I think even an unbiased viewer would tell you Triple H can definitely put on a great match when the story calls for it.

I completely agree with Bret Hart
Undertakers match with Triple H was abysmal as was Shawn Michaels overacting
He should give Triple H more credit though, Jean Paul Levesque was a character that was ahead of its time
