Update: 12/23/2012 / 11:06 PM
After much, much delay, I am proud to announce that B2B Wrestling will be here very soon. After a literally restoring my computer today in order to be able to capture, it has finally started. Roster is completed. Graphics are just about completed. Recording has begun. I finished the first match of FrontLine E01. Expect each episode to have 2-3 matches. Although I have finished the first match, I still need to add in every bit if sound. Crowd, theme music, ring intros, commentary, and the sound effects from punches/kicks/bumps/etc. Its going pretty well and I can't wait to show everyone what I've been working on. Its nothing spectacular but Ive put a lot of work into it so I'm excited. Here are some screen shots of the arena for FrontLine.
Arena Pictures (I updated the arena, this arena will only be in use for Episode 01.
Wrestlers:
1) "The War Machine" Dimitri Neumann
Hometown: St. Petersburg, Russia
Ht: 6'0"
Wt: 240 LBS
Age: 32
Finishing Maneuvers: The Berlin Wall, Ankle Lock
Background:
Half German/Half Russian, Dimitri Neumann was born into a militant family with a rich history of war experience. His father's father served under Hitler's regime in the Nazi Army. His mother's father served for Stalin's Army during World War 2. His father was a German professional boxer in Russia in the 1970's, finishing his career with a record of 109-10-2. Dimitri was pushed into the world of boxing at the age of 5. By the time he was 15, he already had 10 years of boxing experience and 4 years of wrestling. When Dimitri enters the ring, he is not looking to simply win the match. "I enter to kill. If blood is not shed, and bones are not broken, I have failed." The last time Dimitri was seen in a match was 18 months ago. We will just say that his opponent fell into a 6-month long coma. His contract expired a month following the fight; he was not offered an extension.
Dimitri will be making his North America debut on Episode 01 of FrontLine. Due to him not wrestling in 18 months, the B2B Executive Board has determined that he will fight a local talent.
EDIT: Also, if anybody has any advice on how to improve the quality of a Dazzle, I'm all ears... lol
B2B Board of Directors have announced that Bad to the Bone Wrestling has signed three luchadores. This confirms the rumors that B2B will be having luchador styled matches on a frequent basis. What this means for future championships in the company? That remains to be seen. Of the three new wrestlers signed, only one name was announced. Mexican sensation Ivan Hernando, better known by his ring name(s) Gato en la Mascara (Cat in the Mask) or Mascara del Oro, signed a 3-year contract Friday afternoon. His agent / translator Felix Moreno stated in a press release: "My client is extremely excited for this opportunity. It has been his dream since childhood to be a professional wrestler. Taking his talents to the States should open up even bigger doors for him. He cannot wait for his debut match on episode one of Action!" While Hernando is set to compete at ACTION, it is currently unknown who he will be competing against.
Hernando is most known for his tenure in Luchas Guerras in Mexico City, Mexico, where he is a two-time former World Champion. More information to follow.
