You guys have to remember, his handler named him at a time when emo music wasn't in the mainstream and didn't have the "whiny poser-goth wristcutter" stigma attached to it. I could easily change his name to a real last name or to something that sounds similar (like famed rock producer Brian Eno), since his original handler vanished off the face of the internet, but I chose not to. It honestly doesn't annoy me.
