march 28th results
Venue: Bolton Fair Grounds
Location: Bolton, Ontario
Match 1
4 corners match
Brody Lee defeated Akira Rajin, Johnny Gargano & Shane Hollister
Awesome match. Brody's a fucking beast. Brody pinned Akira after hitting him with a big boot
also something under the ring broke
Match 2
Ricky Reyes defeated Jimmy Olsen
meh at best. something else under the ring broke, the ring started too slope in the middle. Reyes won with a buzzsaw kick. after the match reyes walked off and jimmy didnt move. the time keeper both refs (Bryce and theo) and the ring crew express all ran in to check on jimmy and guess what happened, there was a loud thud and the slope got abit deeper and the ring ropes began too losen
side note: although it seemed like Jimmy got kicked in the back of the shoulders from where i was sitting, it was reported the next day that reyes caught him in the back of the head giving him a legit concusion
Match 3
Sara Del Ray defeated Jennifer Blake
Blake's preformance was laughably bad. Sara won with a butterfly suplex
Match 4
Lionel Knight defeated Chris Hero
Match of the night. Hero got counted out, but since Lionel wanted to pin him he gave hero a second chance. few minutes in Lionel got counted out. and hero gave Lionel a second chance. after a kick ass back and forth match and after lionel's chest went from black too red he managed to get hero with a small package. hero then said it was ironic getting beaten with a small package by a wrestler with a small package (if you dont know the joke, Tiny Testies and you got small balls are usually chanted at knight)
Match 5
Josh Prohibition defeated Josh Abercrombie to retain the UWA Canadian title
awesome. best match i've seen from abercrombie. abercrombie also got busted open after clotheslining Prohibition on the ramp and fell off onto the fans (lol). J-pro won with the drunken driver
Match 6
Claudio Castagnoli defeated Matt Cross
Pretty fun too watch. I'm loving the new Matt Cross. he would chop claudio and yell "BEEEEEEE". Claudio won with the Ricola bomb.
Match 7
Dan Payson defeated Derek Wylde to retain the UWA Lightweight Title
just under the Hero/Knight match in awesomness. Great way for Derek too go. Dan won with a whop drop from the middle rope. after the match Derek got a "please dont go" chant, and Derek said "I fucking love you guys" before leaving.
Match 8
Up In Smoke defeated The Flatliners, Ring Crew Express & Hallowicked and Gran Akuma to retain the UWA Tag Team Titles
this match was completely insane. BLKOUT no showed AGAIN!!! Hallowicked and Gran Akuma litterally got no responce from the crowd. both Flatliners went through tables. Cheech pinned Akuma with the Go 2 Cheech. i really dont know why Hallowicked and Gran Akuma were teamed up. they seemed completely out of place in the match
other then the women's match and reyes match it was an awesome show
