I'm finished with every URWL CAW in SVR 2008 and I'm looking to start capturing Episode 4 tonight. If you want to take a look at the rest of the roster, including the new female wrestlers and returning tag team the Experts of Execution, you need to tune in to Episode 4.
I know the videos have been getting pretty high views, but since I've been cranking out about 5 CAWs a day I think the workload would get too intense for something so small.
On the CAW front, I'm trying to make wrestlers look as realistic as possible yet retain a similar look from my current SVR 2007 CAWs...for every CAW I transfered over since my Akina CAW, I physically copied the face and body morphing values from 2007 over in order to get every CAW looking as similar to its 2007 model as possible. Afterward, I tweaked the values as much as possible for more realistic results. For instance, Busiwa Tanao looks more realistic in 2008 than he did in SVR 2007, which looks like an asian caricature in comparison, although I based the values off Busiwa's model from 2007.
You'll also notice that I've been experimenting with attire this season (as seen briefly with Jaime Emo). No longer will wrestling attire look generic (even !nterogative's, which I added a tribal design and old english letters onto). I even re-created some CAWS in order for them to look more realistic and less generic, such as Fusion's CAW alter-ego, who was a rush job in SVR 2007 and who I thought turned out pretty generic-looking by the time Episode 3 hit. Don't worry, he's been completely re-created from scratch this time around, complete with new attire.
Many wrestlers aren't overhauled dramatically, but, like I said, I tweaked each CAW model to make each look more realistic.
However, the biggest barrier in the creation process is the title belt-making process. Yukes changed many of the belt models, so I'm looking out for the same exact belt models or a slightly-modified version of a belt model in order to retain a sense of contiunity. I still have to create the URWL Championship and URWL North American Title in-game, and the only solution for that is to play 24/7 mode for a longer period of time and earning more "cash" to make belts. So, the creation of both matches involving the URWL North American and URWL Championship belts will be left until the end.
The only belts I've redesigned are the URWL Tag Team Titles and the unseen URWL Hardkore Title. The new URWL Womens' Title, which will be fought for at Discontent for the first time, is the only new title I've made so far.
