Wanted to post a general announcement to lay out just what's on tap for the URWL in the next few weeks. All of this is currently on hold until I receive the shipment of the new RAM currently in transit...so I hope that comes ASAP:
1. New Format Power Rankings - As seen, our rankings have a higher presence on our show than ever before. A new image-oriented format will debut on the Rantboard as soon as I can get some concrete ideas down as to how they'll actually be formatted.
2. Custom Chants Tutorial on YouTube - UT indrectly gave me a good idea about how to use College Hoops 2K8's "chant creator" feature in conjunction with a CAW league, so I hope to post a short tutorial video on just how to effectively use the feature in the not-too-distant future.
3. "The Quick Fix"...in video format - Based on a one-time, short-lived "feature" on the Hype Central board, I hope to lay out all of the "top stories" in the URWL with a short video segment designed to promote some of the major angles surrounding the show.
4. Major Work on HighStakes Begins! - Shortly afterward, work on HS will begin and hopefully it won't be as long or arduous as it was for UA. Since I know the software a bit better now, I hope to crank out some ideas in much less time than it once took. Plus, the event will be shorter than UA thanks to our "new format"...so anticipate a more concise show but not necessarily a "cheaper" one.
