Yep, once you see this thread, you know the event is just about ready to get out the door. So, just like old times, let's break down just what's at stake at URWL Unrivaled Ambition:
Jones, SBP, Fuse and Stern to Battle for a Shot at Platinum in Opening Match
Four men who may just be the future of the Unnecessary Roughness Wrestling League will collide for a chance to face URWL Champion Jaime Emo in Unrivaled Ambition's main event. Cory Jones, Shane B. Perkins, Fusion and Seth Stern each possess numerous reasons for being in their current positions on the URWL roster. Only one question remains: which wrestler wants the Championship more? A four-way dance (with elimination rules) will decide which wrestler takes the next step in his promising URWL career.
Akina, !nterogative Collide in "Dream Match"
One of the biggest matches in recent memory pits the currently undefeated Akina against the former undefeated URWL Champion, !nterogative, in a non-title, no-disqualification match. Akina, the Season Two Wrestler of the Year, currently possesses the longest undefeated streak on the URWL roster at 9-0-0, while !ntero is in the midst of a disappointing two-match losing streak. Will "the streak" come to an end on the first full event of Season Three?
No Love Lost: E.O.E. and Cordaro face Tail and GWN in a Six-Man Elimination Tag Team Match
Old rivalries die hard, and that's certainly the case for HighFlyer Division vets Cordaro and Tail as well as the newly renamed Equal Opportunity Enforcers and the URWL Tag Team Champions, the Great White North. Both wrestlers and tag teams will face one-another for the first time since Season Two at Unrivaled Ambition, which should turn out to be a violent and fast-paced contest. E.O.E. have been on the fans' bad side since officially turning in Episode 9 with Carl Load's ringside cheap shot on new GWN accomplice Kelsey MacDonald. Victor Cordaro has undergone a change of heart as of late, and is poised to make his first appearance since defeating Taurus in a steel cage at Popular Demand 2008. Victor has officially set his sights on Tail's HighFlyer Title due to a recent off-screen injury to Taurus. Both teams have their own set of advantages and styles, making this elimination contest that much harder to predict.
AK47 Faces Scorpion in "Russian" Championship Contest
The newly named "Russian" Championship will be on the line as Aleksandar "AK47" Kuleshov takes on new fan favorite Scorpion in the second match of the evening. Like Akina, AK47 has built up quite a winning streak over the past while on his way to claiming Season Two Rookie of the Year honors. Scorpion, after losing a match against former rival Akina in Episode 9, is now on the fans' side after teaming up with Akina to fend off a sneak attack by his jealous brother and ex-tag team partner, Cory Jones. With AK47 now a big factor in the URWL and the wave of momentum Scorpion is currently riding, this match promises to be a solid contest.
