As seen before Episode 5, here are some of the top news stories surrounding Episode 6 of the URWL on YouTube.
!nterogative To Reveal His Choice For #1 Contender
In Episode 6's main event, Jaime Emo will compete for the #1 Contendership of the URWL Championship against a wrestler of !nterogative's choice. After losing against Salvatore in a one-sided contest in Episode 5, Emo looks hell-bent on trying to end the humiliation that has been haunting him since the lights went out at Discontent. The URWL Champion, however, may just be at the peak of his strange behavior under Salvatore's guidance. Will Jaime Emo and !nterogative square off in Digital Mayhem's main event or will !nterogative's #1 Contender force Jaime to watch it at home?
...but don't forget about Salvatore!
A confirmed match for Digital Mayhem is a rematch of Episode 5's main event between Salvatore and Jaime Emo. The #1 Contendership of the URWL Internet Title is Emo's, regardless if he wins or loses in the main event (as that match's outcome has no bearing on the Internet Title race). The question on everyone's mind, though, is will !nterogative be at ringside during the Internet Title match at Digital Mayhem? That decision will be influenced by how Emo fares in the main event. Salvatore has requested that !nterogative be present at ringside for the Internet Title match should Emo lose in Episode 6's main event. If Emo wins the #1 Contendership of the URWL Championship, however, !nterogative will be banned from ringside in the Internet Title matchup. Furthermore, Salvatore is so confident !nterogative's #1 Contender will win in Episode 6's Main Event that he will give up his own spot at ringside in Digital Mayhem's URWL Championship Match if Emo wins. Will this wager benefit or backfire for Salvatore? It all rests on the outcome of Episode 6's Main Event.
The Blood Invitational Continues
Blood will take on his second mystery challenger in the Blood Invitational after defeating Trent Tail in Episode 5. The invitational will continue as long as Blood holds his URWL North American Championship. Judging by the resilient effort put forth by Tail, Blood's next match may not be a walk in the park...
Shaun McAndrew Takes on Wes Tomerka In Solo Action
After winning the #1 Contendership for the URWL Tag Team Titles, The Great White North just may have an upper hand on URWL Tag Team Champions The Downfall Syndicate. But don't count the Syndicate out just yet. With both of their teammates at ringside, Shaun McAndrew and Wes Tomerka will collide in a singles match for bragging rights going into the Tag Team Ladder Match at Digital Mayhem. The Syndicate, after watching Episode 5's #1 Contender Match, look to stop GWN's momentum cold. After all, both Adrien Carnage and Wes Tomerka were successful solo wrestlers before they made their name in the URWL's tag team division.
Rincon, MacDonald and Nakamura Battle For A Shot at Slash
Cecilia Rincon found her instant #1 Contendership for the URWL Womens' Championship stripped after she lost to Jesse Slash in Episode 5. Now, the rest of the URWL womens' division have a chance for direct revenge against Jesse Slash and a shot at Slash's coveted URWL Womens' Championship. A trip to Digital Mayhem is guaranteed for the woman that emerges victorious in this three-way match.
HTT Finals Will Be Decided
After shocking the world by taking Merle Haggard Jr. out of the Hardkore Title Tournament in Episode 5, Scorpion looks to win a berth in the URWL Hardkore Title Tournament finals at Digital Mayhem. However, he will have to get through Taurus, who won a shocker over Victor Cordaro to advance to the semifinal round in his re-debut. In the second and final semifinal match, the surging Fusion and the unrivaled Akina will clash to determine who will face the winner of the Scorpion/Taurus match at Digital Mayhem in the URWL's first-ever FREESTYLE HARDCORE MATCH of the YouTube era. Only two men will emerge as the clearcut finalists for the coveted URWL Hardkore Title.
Winless Tanao, Tail One Step Closer To Forced Retirement?
There are only two winless wrestlers left on the URWL active roster: Trent Tail and Busiwa Tanao. One will emerge with a win and their career at Digital Mayhem. The other will be forced to retire from professional wrestling. Tanao, who will face the recently-debuted Aleksandar Kuleshov in Episode 6, may still be winless heading into Digital Mayhem. Tail, however, will not be booked. Which wrestler will have the upper hand going into the matchup of their lives?
Strange Letter Sent to URWL HQ
On Monday evening, a cryptic note, written in some sort of ASCII-esque language, was taped onto the front door of URWL HQ. After being presented to the URWL Board of Directors by CEO Goldash007, the board came to a general consensus that the letter may have been the work of some local teenagers. It was shredded later that evening without deliberation.
Barry White Spotted At Charity Event
Despite not being in optimal physical condition, 18-Time URWL Champion Barry White, sans neck brace, decided to take time to sign autographs at a charity auction March 11th at the URWL Arena. When asked about his return to action, Barry shook his head, sighed, and walked away...
The Commander Booed Off Stage At High School Assembly
Recently-suspended URWL wrestler The Commander, now back with his natural brown hair after his stint as a Nazi sympathizer, was booed off the auditorium stage at Fillmore High in Portland, Maine this past Friday afternoon, during a presentation on making healthy choices. School representatives obviously were unaware of the unhealthy choice they had made by booking The Commander that afternoon, as students raucously jeered the former URWL Champion. David Horowitz, a twelfth-grade student with Jewish heritage, thought the Commander's appearance at the school was "fucking weak", and added, "It would have been funny if Seth was there to kick his ass again."
