I figure there should be a thread to discuss the Chris Benoit Double Murder Suicide tragedy. What do you think about this whole ordeal? I still think it is very sad.

It's a controversial subject where many different opinions exist on it so I feel it would get turned into a flame fest pretty fast.

I have no problem with Chris Benoit the wrestler - he's was a great in-ring competitor, probably the best technical wrestler of all time. Guys like Benoit are a dying breed.

...but, every time I see one of his matches on a DVD, I get a sinking feeling in my stomach and immediately turn the match off. I still haven't gotten over it and probably never will.

Yeah whenever I watch a DVD now I can't watch his matches just thinking about what happened makes me sad. He was and will remain ONE of the BEST DAMN WRESTLERS IN THE WORLD!!!

I was shocked when chris benoit died ,but I was really shocked about the double murder suicide. I mean I ... .., I don't wanna talk about it.

if it makes y'all feel any better benoit wasnt himself when he did the homocides because of the scitsophrenic fits he had due to the large ammount of brain damage he sustained from the head trauma caused by chair shots etc.

Beniot was a terrific wrestler. Having said that, the murder/suicide was disgusting. I can still watch his matches but I catch myself holding contempt towards him for his actions on his family. No one knows why he did it and no explaination will justify it.

all i know is that he wasnt himself for those few days.
