Editing is finished! The event is rendering for commentary as I type in all Midnight Club is over 2 and a half hours long...and it looks great IMO. Hopefully I'll have enough time to throw down PA and PBP commentary this afternoon. Event might start posting late late tonight or through the day Monday.

Yes, I'm back to talk about this event...again. I would love nothing more than to tell you that Midnight Club will be posted next weekend when I am home from college, however that would be a lie. After reviewing the event as a whole I have decided to make several whole-sale changes to the event's graphics and overall appearance. I am doing this because I feel the current graphics look disjointed and low quality. Therefore, I will probably spend my weekend off tearing the event apart and pretty much completely re-editing the entire thing. Think of the current version as a rough-cut....I can honestly say that this will be the best event in WWR history in more ways than one. It also may well turn out to be the longest in the WWR (approx: 2 hours and 50 minutes) for quite some time as I too plan to produce shorter more concise events after Midnight Club in an effort to actually meet some deadlines. Also while I'm discussing the WWR...I have decided to upgrade my editing software before continuing to produce events. In the next few months I hope to purchase the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Production Premium. After a very helpful hint from Goldash about Adobe's student discounts. I hope that this will help the WWR reach its true potential as a realistic and "professional" CAW league on par with the URWL in terms of production values and match quality which will be improving as I become more familiar with SVR 11 and my new software collectively. I am also updating my software in preparation for my new career path and major. I hope to go into sports broadcasting and production, and I would love nothing more than to one day work for the WWE's production department. One more thing, unless there is finally an option to transfer CAWs between games in WWE 12' the WWR will be staying on SVR 11 for the foreseeable future. I do not have the patience or time to re-create everyone all over again just for the ability to create my own generic arena. So I once again would like to thank everyone who has supported the WWR to this point and I promise we will be back Better than ever in early 2012 if everything in real life goes as planned...

Alright another news update...
I did not get the work on Midnight Club whatsoever this weekend due to a nagging cold...
In light of this unfortunate development I have to decided to bring the WWR to college with me. My 360, editing and capture software/hardware, and all the raw video I need for Midnight Club are now all in my dorm room. Instead of waiting for 2012 and the eventual purchase of the Adobe Suite I have decided to begin producing WWR events once again.
I am doing this sadly for selfish reasons...I do not have a TV right now and am bored out of my freaking head sitting in the dorm room when I don't have school work to do. Now do not expect MDC to roll off the presses in the very near future I have 2 papers that are due this week so my editing time will be somewhat limited.
However, with great joy I can now say the WWR is BACK!

I just can't catch a damn break sometimes... The WWR will once again be on, what I hope to be, a brief hiatus AFTER Midnight Club. My loyal and faithful capture device has gone to a better place...after 4 years of service. Not bad for a 30 dollar purchase. So the dark match for Midnight Club is canceled, so is a new feature I was going to debut called WWR LiveWire, which will be a video news "show" I will post between shows that will cover the stories of note in the WWR. I have decided that I will be doing everything promotion and advertising wise through my YouTube channel this includes shows, news releases, trailers/vignettes, and a few other things I'm working on. Now Midnight Club is coming along wonderfully...sadly it will not be on the level I was hoping for due to my capture problems. But suffice to say Midnight Club will be a transition point for the WWR production wise. Now, in the next week or few weeks more than likely I will be purchasing a brand new capture device that will use the high end graphics card built into my laptop to enhance video quality. This new capture device also supports HD recording, so Midnight Club will be the last WWR event "available in Standard Def" On the season two premiere on Revolt the WWR will make the jump to HD. As I said earlier I will also be purchasing in the near future the Adobe Production Suite which will most certainly help the quality of the production improve. My ancient, by software standards, Vegas only supports four video tracks in any one project. Which severely limits my ability to use multi-layered motion graphics. So in truth I am very much looking forward to the next few months. I am actively refining the plans for the WWR's future and I promise things will be getting very interesting in the future. . .

That's really great news. Glad you're stepping up production-wise. Can't wait for WWR Midnight Club.

Alright...there will be no hiatus after all.
I will be ordering the new capture device next week, for those wondering I'm getting the external equivalent to the Blackmagic card Goldash is currently looking at. As such this purchase is going to set me back a whole month's pay, so it will push the purchase of the Adobe Premiere Production Suite back to somewhere around Christmas.
Actual editing for Midnight Club will hopefully start later this evening as I have finally almost finished building the new graphics. I hope to have this thing out the door sometime next week before my mid-terms. Production for Revolt will begin, time permitting, with the arrival of my new capture device and software.

WWR Midnight Club is rendering in stunning....standard definition as I type. The official run time for the event will be 2 hours and 45 minutes. I ran into a few issues with limitation inside of Vegas so I had to ad lib on a few graphics and other things. Hopefully commentary and PA will be put down sometime later today. Right now I'm going to sleep....I've been working on MDC for about 8 hours straight now. I've put my heart and soul into this event and I cannot wait to share it with all of you! Okay, two more f'ing days! My damn microphone decided to quit on me so I'm ordering a professional broadcasting headset from Amazon, thank you student discount! The headset will be here on Thursday so until then Midnight Club will once again be on hold.
Oh, and I have set up and tested my new capture device, and I can sum it up in one word. WOW! This thing puts the Diamond to shame and it is so crisp it's unbelievable.
Hopefully this will be the last delay for Midnight Club, because otherwise I'm going to go bankrupt lol....Until then production for Revolt and the news program I'm doing called "LiveWire" will begin tonight or tomorrow depending on how quickly I can get used to my new toy.

Come HELL or F'ING high water I will release this event TONIGHT! I have been trying to render the damn thing ALL DAY, but instead discovered that the problem I've been having with Vegas is a KNOWN bug that has been a problem for YEARS. Basically I cannot render in even a halfway decent quality in large frame sizes.
So I am going to try rendering the video one more time in it's native AVI format and if that doesn't work, I'm going to hunt down a free trial of Adobe and download that and render the damn thing that way.
Needless to say, I am hellbent on getting Adobe as soon as humanly possible now. Sony can kiss my ASS, it will certainly be a cold day in hell before I buy anymore Vegas programs. Not sure if I'll have to go back on hiatus or not...this bug is really going to be an issue considering my new cap device only works in HD, which natively uses a large frame size. If worse comes to worse I'll just have to upload MDC in a 480 by 360 size and deal with it....

Finally got the event rendered today! It will be up Saturday afternoon probably, it is a very large file (2.5 GB) because I had to leave it as a WMV.
In the meantime all the graphics for Revolt and LiveWire are now complete and production will hopefully begin tomorrow or Friday depending on my workload.
This is the last update in this thread before the event will be posted.

Like I've said, Devil, this event was DEFINITELY worth the wait and it proves that you love what you are doing with WWR. I wish for only the best from the league down the road and hopefully all of us can produce things with more frequency going forward. Plus, as you're still learning about the software and techniques, you'll be able to move on to bigger and better things as WWR moves forward from this point. Here's to professional advancement...with CAW shows! YEEEEAH!

It's good to see the hours of rehearsal paid off. And yes, I definitely see Midnight Club and the next episode of Revolt as transition points for the WWR production wise. Although I'm already reaching the limitations of my outdated software. Hopefully Adobe will be a reality sooner rather than later.
