1 thing i would love for them to have is rag-doll physics so that the characters in the game would land differently every time and the light weighted wrestlers would be thrown further and bounce more, also the ropes shouldn't have invisible barriers when you throw someone at the ropes they should hit the the rope or even go over the ropes.

also tables and other suff should break differently everytime-like in the new star wars game: star wars unleashed

Pretty much start from scratch and listen to wrestling fans or better yet wrestling game fans.
1. Not limiting CAW mode, blurring and design positioning. (Randy Orton has designs on his crotch)
2. This goes for 360 but realistic breast resizing for caws, and they move rather unnaturally
3. A paint type design like is in DOR so you can make custom logos
I agree partially with the ragdoll physics but they'd need to figure out an injury system, i.e. land on arm then breakage happens

I agree partially with the ragdoll physics but they'd need to figure out an injury system, i.e. land on arm then breakage happens I always would love to see this idea implemented in more videogames but a lot of licensed leagues don't want to portray realistic injuries for various reasons (protecting the integrity of the real people featured in the game, mostly). They're fine with just saying "Player X is injured" and not letting a gamer see any contortion or breakage. An example of this is in All-Pro Football 2K8. It's something 2K Sports wanted to do for ESPN NFL 2K5 but the NFL wouldn't allow them to put it in. It's a really great feature, though...once, I had a receiver twist his ankle and fall to the turf during a route. If something like this was in any wrestling game it'd be great...the only thing is, it'd be quite a downer if a match stopped at the wrong moment due to injury (like on an unspectacular bump).

Or maybe a better injury system they would defend an injured limb which leaves them open for attack elsewhere. Having rag doll physics tends to make them land awkwardly, like in games like Skate and Saints Row. The injury system on No Mercy and the AKI wrestling games under THQ had good ways like submissions ended in a snap before tapping, maybe for the dirty superstars they have intentional techniques for injuring opponents. Maybe a realistic option would be to choose a style for your caw that effects the way they sell moves like say RVD and HBK sometimes over sell a move, making it look more comical where others do slight exaggerations and then those who do text book selling.
Having said that though it may be too much to ask for.
Most improvements I would suggest are for caw mode mainly, as I spend more time creating than doing matches. Even when I ran a fed I spent more time creating. ;D

I agree with Revolution the injury system does need to be revamped, and even though people would probably complain about a "Next-Gen" game having the same injury system as a n-64 game. But they weren't complaining about it on the N-64 video gaming has a double standard. Most people don't believe in the adage "If it's not broke don't fix it" that old system worked and even if it's old it worked a hell of a lot better than the current system does. So why not put it in there sadly isn't anything much worse they could do to the physics and injury engines.

Not sure how accurate this info is, but a new rumor going around concerning the physics engine in SVR09 talks about THQ trying to combine the old engine from the DOR series and the physics engine used in GTA4 to make SVR as realistic as possible this year.

Wow, smackdown games need a shit load of work. I won't delve into what I want since it's been done to death ever since HCTP. Ummmm, off the top of my head, I'd like to see no moveset limitations like DOR and No Mercy. I'd also like that they make the season at least 5 years and co op. I'm done. This wishful thinking hurts my head.

well Co-op's confirmed main event so nothing to say there, There's been alot of talk about Ragdoll Phycis (pardon the crappy spelling) but the only problem I have with that is them over doing it. I've seen games with ragdoll Physics where you get toss and fly like 8 feet in the air and land with your legs going in opposite directions. If the ragdoll was like that i say screw it. But if they did it right I would say I'm all for it

Upgrade the computer AI. Prevent computer opponents from making pinfalls after chincy moves like clotheslines and such. Have them pin after a finisher or signature move.

another thing for the AI is fix the elimanation chamber AI, i mean seriously they climb up the cage reguardless if the opponets out or not I mean I had an elimination chamber match that was 15 minutes of peoples climbing the cage then falling on their asses

According the IGN THQ is looking to improve the AI of CPU opponents. Whether or not it does any good remains to be seen. I'm also a little weary about how much they seem to be focusing on the tag team match controls this year. I just hope they don't devote too much time into this without improving other areas of the game.

SS Torture rack and every submission being SS, I like the SS system but it needs more moves... Crossface too, since HHH has used it so maybe it will return
