[Season 3 Info – Ranking System Explained]
This season the Ranking system that was introduced for the Double Dragon and Rising Sun Championships has been extended to the entire roster. Those two divisions will still have their own individual rankings to determine the next challenger for the belts but now the road to the Galactus and World titles may get a bit harder for some...or easier depending on the wrestler.
Here is how the Overall ranking system will work:
3 pts for wins
0 pts for losses
1 pt for Ties or DQ Victories
5 pts for Winner in #1 Contenders Matches or Winner Vs. Champions
Wrestlers are reset to 0 pts if they LOSE to a Champion
Rankings 1 through 5 will be elgible for World Title shots with the #1 ranked wrestler being named #1 Contender (unless there is a tie for #1 then a Contenders match will happen between #1 & #2)
Rankings 6 through 10 will be elgible for Galactus Championship shots with the #6 ranked wrestler being named #1 Contender (unless there is a tie for #6 then a Contenders match will happen between #6 & #7)
This very unique way of ranking our roster will be used throughout Season 3 and will quite possibly play a big factor in title races and some current and possibly future storylines/feuds.
[Summer Slamboree 9 Commitee Narrows List Of Locations]
Originally the list was pretty large, but after a month of meetings and traveling to locations the team has narrowed the list to a few places!
Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada
This would mark the second time that Normster and crew would travel to The Great White North if this venue is selected. We saw with Summer Slamboree 8 the return to Japan, will we see a return to Canada?
Nationals Park in Washington D.C.
One thing that went into the decision to drop RFK and keep Nationals Park would be one is a newer stadium and the other is kind of old and busted. While having the event in RFK would mean a lot more to Normster and fellow Washingtonians the age of that stadium outweighed the long history of events. Nationals Park however is still a fairly new baseball stadium for the D.C. Baseball Team, The Washington Nationals. With this possibly being the final season and the final Summer Slamboree, it would be great to see the event held here.
LA Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California
This is another good stadium with a long history inside of it. It also houses one of the best NCAA Football Teams in USC and has held the Olympic games on more than one occasion. LA would be another great location to hold the season and possibly league finale. It would be a great break away from using the ever popular Staples Center.

Power Fist Wrestling is finally back after it's two month off-season and ready to get back in the thick of things! At Summer Slamboree 8 there were two big title changes and some questions that need to be answered! Like, How will Arcan feel after Kei Saitou and Krauser lost their match at SS8 and most importantly, WHY DID JAMES DARK HELP ARCAN RETAIN THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!?
Rising Sun Division
Alonzo Banderas Vs. Erik Starr
Double Dragon Division
Ego Trip Vs. The Syndicate
Ranked Match
Joshua Bishop Vs. Piro McIzzy
This match will be the first of many RANKED matches that will determine who moves on up and who crash and burns. This match is very important despite the Main Event. One of these two men will start there season #1 (unless Brian James loses) and the other will stay down at the bottom of the ladder!
MAIN EVENT
Arcan Vs. Brian James
This is a huge match up so early in the season with Brian James getting an opportunity to grab a 5pt lead to start his season! These two have faced each other before so it will be a very interesting match up seeing where these two are right now. Lets also remember that Brian James is McLeods mentor and the Title Contract has yet to be used.
