Wildcats News: The first edition of DCA Wildcats has been a huge success, and we would like to thank all of our fans for making this happen. And we promise to make the future of Wildcats and the Wildcats division the best that it can be. But one person who will not be on upcoming episodes of Wildcats and any events in general for a few months is Amber Stevens. On DCA Takedown 30, Amber was viciously attacked in the backstage area by a previously unknown assailant, who infiltrated the DCA Arena and brutally assaulted the former Women’s Champion, sending her into an electrical circuit board and through a glass window backstage. Amber received extensive cuts and bruises as well as some nerve damage due to the combination of the electricity and the throw through the glass. Doctors have recently updated DCA on her condition, and they have reported that Amber is recovering rather quickly from her injuries, but is still struggling to gain feeling into her arms and legs. She was expected to be out two to four months, but Amber has reportedly told her doctors personally that she will look to be back much sooner to get her hands on the woman who attacked her.
As for the woman who attacked her, we have learned that her name is Rachel Diaz. We have tried to gain more information on her background and how she was able to enter the building on Takedown 30 undetected by any security, but the investigation is still ongoing. One person who has surprisingly spoken out on this controversy in the Wildcats Division is the former DCA Women’s Champion, Ciara Night. “Personally, I think what happened to Amber is something that shouldn’t be ignored by management. But seeing as though Joshua Bishop and DWall haven’t seemed to speak on it, I will. I may not like Amber, but I respect her and what she’s done here. I think that there’s a lot more to this than just a simple invasion and assault, and I’m sure that Amber will come back stronger and even more pissed off. But if that woman ever comes back and tries to come after me, I won’t be as merciful as Amber would be. That’s a promise.”
The first round of the number one contender’s tournament to crown a new challenger for the new Women’s Champion, Morgan Reincroft, will continue on the next episode of Wildcats. So far, out of the sixteen women in the tournament, Allison Simone, Ophelia Winters, Jessica Lewis, and Lacey Adams have advanced to the second round that begins on Episode 3. But DCA can confirm two women who are in the tournament and will be on Episode 2 competing: Dani Gibbons and Alika Lynch. Both Dani and Alika haven’t been since DCA Takedown Episode 26. Dani had been under contract negotiations for some time after that show, and is now signed to a deal with the company, while Alika is coming back early from a suspension by former head member of the Board of Directors, Richard Silvia, who suspended her until Season 2. Both have hatred for each other and Dani had not hidden the fact that she wanted to face Alika in a one-on-one match, and if the random drawing going her way, she could get her wish.
Other News: After his big victory on Takedown 30 over Malik Brown, it has been reported that Jordan Silvia has earned the right to face Atlas Jones at DCA Zero Hour for the DCA Championship, a match that has already been confirmed. Unlike last time where Jordan was literally handed a title shot, Jordan earned it in the middle of the ring with no cheap shots, sneak attacks, or verbal abuse. This is what prompted Joshua Bishop to give him a title opportunity, because of the drive and effort that Jordan has made during his feud with Malik Brown. But speaking of Malik, on Episode 31, he will be going one on one with the DCA Champion, Atlas Jones, in a match that could shape the future contention of that title.
It is not a secret that The Bladerunners have absolutely run through any and every tag team that has stood in their path since being handed the DCA Tag Team Championships after D.N. Allen and Travis Brookside, the former champions, were not only send over to Japan, but were also in turn released from their DCA contracts while Shazine was in power as General Manger. No one has seemed to stop their reign of dominance and in their minds, there doesn’t seem to be a tag team out there who can. Gage Grayson recently caught up with DCA to speak on this issue:
"If I could be serious for a moment…I've seen things you people wouldn’t believe.... I've touched greatness in every city across these United States, I've grasped gold from a 20 foot high ladder, a pedestal above every ungrateful, unwashed bottom feeder who paid good money to see a match they already knew the result to. The Bladerunners win, and history repeats itself. We are Alexander the Great, and Napoleon Bonaparte, and like those great men there are no more lands left to conquer. We've beat everybody here, and we will beat everyone elsewhere. If DCA fails to supply another team that could even come close to touching the greatness of the Bladerunners, we'll have to pack our bags, and take this gold with us. But no matter where we go, one by one, they all will fall before us... like tears in the rain....."
They are so confident that no other team can beat them for the titles, they have issued an open challenge to anyone tag team to show up to face them for the DCA Tag Team Championships at DCA Zero Hour, a move with Director of Wrestling Operations, Joshua Bishop, openly approved immediately. But the real question is who will challenge them and can they do what the others couldn’t and dethrone The Bladerunners?
Also, DCA has placed Takedown commentator Todd “I Still Don’t Have a Chair” Crimson on a temporary leave of absence, while reviewing his current contract and his commentary after officials caught word of his recent commentary of Takedown 30 and his comments about The Bladerunners. In his place, DCA has come to terms with the hiring of Norman Rhodes, Josh Jepson, and Rick Diamond to DCA Commentary. And after the overwhelming response of Wildcats commentary, Josh and Rick will be commentating (along with Norm) on Episode 31. And rumors are swirling that Rick Diamond will be receiving a new segment for DCA that is being rumored to be called, “The Diamond List”.
Finally, on Takedown 30, Dante Styles won the DCA Destiny Championship from Alexander Washington in his first DCA match after answering Alexander’s open challenge. Dante is not scheduled to appear on Takedown Episode 31, but we have learned that on Episode 32, he is expected to speak on his victory and his future in the Destiny Championship Alliance.
