We're about a week away for WCW's return, and news is breaking all over the place in WCW. Let's start with the big one.
WCW signs Shazine Fria Not too long ago, Shazine and Stephanie McMahon were at odds on how Shazine ran DCA. Now that she's out of a job, McMahon and the WCW Board of Directors decided to offer her a managerial role in WCW, in which she accepted. WCW has had a history of using former general managers and turn them into managers. Shortly after Thomas Law was fired as general manager of MCW, he was quickly hired as a manager for the Random Mexican KKK, a team he led to the WCW Tag Team Titles back in 2010. Needless to say, she's gonna have A LOT to say concerning her removal as GM of DCA Takedown and the DCA Director of Wrestling Operations Joshua Bishop. The question is: Did WCW bite off more than they could chew? Only time will tell.
New Commissioner Named Also announced is that WCW has a brand new commissioner. This man will be responsible for all things happening in WCW. That man is Jeff Jarrett. "First of all, I want to thank the McMahons and the WCW Board of Directors for granting me the opportunity to lead WCW back to the top of the mountain. Following in the footsteps of Mick Foley, JBL, and Ric Flair is not going to be easy, but I am up to the challenge," Jarrett announced. He's already starting to build WCW with the signing of Jessica Knight. What more does he have in store for WCW? You just have to watch to find out.
