Every sport has "the new generation." In basketball, it's LeBron James. In hockey, Sydney Crosby ushered in the new school. In professional wrestling, it's one man... Connor House.
Debuting at High Stakes 2010, Connor House went on a big tear through the SWF, going undefeated throughout the rest of the season and into the next before finally losing to Eric Ridgeway. And he wasn't just beating jobbers either. Among those who felt the House Call? Such luminaries as Reggie Hutchings and Scooter Pondoff.
After his defeat at the hands of Ridgeway, House made it his personal goal to win the Hardcore Championship, but before he could do that, he entered into what many consider the feud of 2011, as he took on newcomer Josh Arcanum in a series of matches that are regarded as some of the most brutal in SWF history. The two met first at High Stakes 2011, where Arcanum managed to make House tap out. The roles would reverse, however, at Dark Horizon a month later, when House managed to defeat Arcanum in a vicious falls count anywhere match thanks to his new valet, Brooke.
So of course, House would figure heavily into Mind Games VII, his second year competing at the event, as he took on Colt LeGalley and Josh Arcanum in a triple threat ladder match for the ages. And just like the year before, Connor House emerged victorious, a fact that he'll tell you points to him being the new face of the SWF. He held the title for 3 months, until being forced off of it by another rookie, Devlin Hunter, in another hellacious ladder match. Don't expect it to keep him down for long though... House always has a bigger and better plan up his sleeve.
