The SVR series has officially been "reinvented" and renamed WWE '12. IGN has the scoop: xbox360.ign.com/articles/117/1171571p1.htmlMany people are getting DOR vibes from what's being said about the gameplay, but more attention to the physics system and greater match logic may be reasons why this should be an interesting next few months for this series. Although if the gameplay is that much better, what does that mean for someone who has to remake all of his CAWs again? An import feature would be nice, THQ. Just kidding. It's about time this game got some much needed revamping. We'll see if it's as friendly for CAW league makers this time around...the lack of moves and related oddities seem to pop up every year.

The gameplay is something that always seemed outdated to me...glad they're actually working on it now.

Nice find. Camera angles look a hell of a lot better but I don't really see any eye-popping differences apart from the gameplay being a bit slower and lifelike. I still don't like the slowdown on finishers, but oh well. It looks good to me. </billyandchuck>
I also hope all of the HUD elements can be turned off again. Screens seemed to show the WWEHD and "WWE Live" logos on screen, but from this video, it seems like you can turn them off. One can only hope, I guess. Looking forward to seeing more of what this game has to offer.

Some are saying that the clip might be from the wii version.
Imo, I think it's a clip from the really early stages of the game.

I think it's a clip from the really early stages of the game. I hope so. I'll wait for E3 footage to give my first impression of this game, through.

The new control scheme looks interesting but I just hope they will put enough moves in for it SVR 11 was pretty bad in that aspect in which you build a moveset and you can't get a lot of diversity in it. The gameplay video didn't seem that much of an improvement or different to me other than the new taunt and new punt animation. I am probably going to wait until someone I know buys this so I can find out the whole story worts and all.

I see "Seth" and "Victor" and "Star" in there, and "White" but no "Barry".
Are these the only names available or have you heard anything about specific last names? Would be great to see a last name bank as well but if these are the only ones available then IDK. Won't be using them much anyway, but this is a great idea considering I loved this feature in Raw 2 and the Legends of Wrestling series.
...yep, back in the old LOW games, Barry White's name was 'Very' Barry White, I kid you not. Most of the time Vince and I just put the most random things we could in there, which created all kinds of lulziness from the PA announcer.
