Kind of a big shocker for me since I wasn't aware Nigel failed his physical after agreeing in principle to a contract with the WWE. So, opportunists that they are, TNA scoop Nigel up and IMMEDIATELY debut him in an upper-midcard angle with Kurt Angle. Genius, or simply a case of "too much, too soon?"
I admit, I was shocked to find that Nigel had "jumped ship" to TNA with a new name and a shaved head. What will become of him? Will Bryan Danielson go down the same path (rumors out there certainly make it possible)? Will WWE kick themselves for "missing out" on him a few years from now? Or will Desmond Wolfe turn out to be another in a long line of mistakes for TNA?
It's hard to tell in only his second week in the company, but Nige...I mean, DESMOND looks to be ready to make an impact.
