It's freaking lovely. I'm gonna be doing pull ups everyday now. I always felt I was missing something from my home equipment and it was that I couldn't do pull ups anywhere unless I went outside hunting for scaffolds. I'm happy I bought this.

Impressive. After losing 60 pounds over the summer without doing any lifting (mostly jogging and watching every little thing I ate) I think it's high time for me to "get ripped" as well.

That's wonderful, Goldy. I used to be a chubby guy myself dropping from 250lbs in high school to my lowest at 190lbs. I'm comfortable floating at 210lbs but I want to bulk up the muscle.
What made you decide to change up your lifestyle?

What made you decide to change up your lifestyle? Probably just seeing how careless I had become with my lifestyle for the most part, and this helped me realize just how attainable a goal like this is with a little hard work and determination (thank you, Jaime Emo). It was hard to cut out a lot of the elements of my food intake that were the root of the problem (pop/soda was the biggest catalyst, as was creamy dressings like ranch and bleu cheese on salad and the overall amount of junk food I ate in-between meals). People I know didn't understand how I did it just by watching food and running but that's basically how I did it...it took about 3-4 months of daily temperance but it all worked out. I'm not watching my food intake to a "t" like I did before at the moment, but just moderating what I do eat at the moment and just keeping a good head about what I should and should not be choosing in different situations. I may be investing in a treadmill down the road just because I'd like to do some walking/jogging indoors while the wild Buffalo winter rages outdoors and makes physical activity damn near impossible with all the ice on the pathways.

That's wonderful, man. I can totally relate to all of that. People thought I was nuts when I'd turn away soda and potato chips. It's just amazing when you take control of such a thing not noticing how much your diet affects everything about you.
One of the best feelings from dropping weight was not being exhausted after climbing a flight of stairs.
