Whenever friends and I are out having a bonfire in the boonies this sort of thing always comes up. All of a sudden, someone has to blurt, "hey, what would happen if a bear just suddenly walked out of the woods?"
Well, heh, I'd probably sit as still as possible, but some of my half-drunk friends would probably annoy it to the point of rage, getting us all brutally slaughtered in the process and unable to tell the story to our young sons and daughters around the campfire one day...
...or the bear could just get scared and walk back to the woods where he or she came from, leaving us around the fire to wonder what the fuck happened. Either way would probably scare the living shit out of all of us.
