(Note: this will all be reiterated in a CEO's Corner segment in the next few days).
Here are some late-breaking updates dealing with Episode 5's card:
-TAURUS is an official entrant in the URWL Hardkore Title Tournament. Announced earlier this morning at a press conference at URWL HQ in Orchard Park, URWL CEO Goldash007 surprised many a fan as he announced that Taurus will be taking Seth Stern's place in the URWL Hardkore Title Tournament. The rumors surrounding a possible second chance for Scorpion in the tournament have officially been nullified by today's announcement. Scorpion, as expected, was unavailable for comment.
-JAIME EMO and SALVATORE will square off for the URWL Internet Title in the Main Event. Jaime Emo has answered Salvatore's call for a rematch, although he hasn't publically announced it yet. The match has been booked, however, and Jaime will go head-to-head against the man that cost him the URWL Championship at Discontent. However, current URWL Champion !nterogative, "a changed man" because of Salvatore's intervention, will be allowed at ringside, much to Emo's chagrin. Look for a public response by Emo in the next few days.
-URWL North American Champion BLOOD has extended an open invitation to anyone wanting to challenge him for his title belt. Seeking no formal #1 Contender, Blood said that he will issue open challenges at every URWL event until he loses his title, saying "I can beat anyone on this roster and I will personally prove to all of you that I can." This "Blood Invitational" will start in Episode 5 and go on for as long as Blood wants.
-The Downfall Syndicate Sit Out, But Two Teams Will Battle For A Title Shot. DFS will apparently be watching this event from a local bar, effectively scouting either E.O.E. or The Great White North, who will make their URWL debuts in Episode 5. E.O.E. have proven to the URWL that they can compete with DFS, but the hungry team of Kyle Stafford and Shaun McAndrew, otherwise known as The Great White North, look to pull off the upset and debut strong.
-Fusion Looks To Stop CobrA's Streak - Fusion is confident that Episode 5 will be the perfect opportunity to prove his worth in the URWL HighFlyer ranks - he will be facing CobrA, who looks unstoppable after defeating Victor Cordaro in a brutal Ladder Match at Discontent.
-Aleksandar Kuleshov To Debut Against Hog Williker - The much-hyped debut of MMA star Alexsandar Kuleshov in the URWL is officially taking place at Episode 5, as he will take on a very fragile Hog Williker, who suffered a minor groin pull after a busy night at Discontent. However, Hog still believes he's in good wrestling shape despite being warned by his personal trainer to sit Episode 5 out. We'll see if this could be a detrement or an advantage for the ailing Williker...
-Jesse Slash Not At All Worried About The Debuting Cecilia Rincon - Slash, the new URWL Womens' Champion, will have her first title defense against the debuting Cecilia Rincon, a breakout female wrestling star from Venezuela. Rincon, 26, is a powerful wrestler who will surely make waves in the URWL Womens' Division.
The event is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, February 16th. All matches will be posted during this date, instead of the normal "post one match one day" method I've used.
