Ok currently Goldash has reloaded Episodes 1 and 2 onto Google Video the links should be on the episode matchcards. If you want to watch the entire YouTube era your going to have to wait because apparently the FileFront links aren't working. So hopefully Goldash will have time to upload the rest of the old episodes and supercards to Google.

the Cold war match was by far my favorite even though those indicators were kind of bulky *shrug* I just loved that match though I tried my best. The stupid game's indicators were to blame. I could easily have done a score overlay, similar to the Akina/Blood match, but I would have cut out a good 25% of the picture just by cutting the SVR2008 indicators out. Thank God SVR2009 fixes this problem, that's all I gotta say --- they're intermittent in the new game and only show up after a fall, which is better than being on the screen 100% of the time. About the old episodes...I still have the ZIP files, so I'll upload the old downloadable episodes up to FileFront ASAP, maybe even tonight when I get a few spare minutes. The "Reloaded" series is still on, and Asphyxiation 2007 will be the next event in that lineup. I'll put that event together soon and put it up on Google.

BOOKAH'S OPINION TIIIIIME!!!!!
Match 1: Fusion vs. Salvatore (MOBSTER'S Ball Match)I was feeling pretty upset about how both men were portrayed in previous matches, so my aim in this match was to really emphasize the qualities of both wrestlers. In Salv's case, I wanted to bring his technical ability out a bit more. The results were mixed in the final product, but I think he came off looking a bit better than he did in the past, especially compared to his last match at a URWL supercard (against Barry White at Digital Mayhem). For Fuse, I really wanted to get him over the hump in terms of mediocrity so that he can finally become a wrestler of substance in the URWL. I thought a good match result would change a lot of minds about Fusion - whether this match has that kind of impact remains to be seen. I'd like to think this match is basically the culmination of Fuse's days as a "jobber" and should be that "one match" that pushes him over the top. Expect bigger things from him in the future. As for the match itself...I felt pretty good about it. There are a good amount of logical spots and the ending had a pretty effective buildup, just what I wanted for Fuse in a match like this. I didn't want the hardcore elements to take much precedence in this contest because I wanted both men's strengths to really emerge in this bout. The many weapon spots try to reflect this. Match 2: Merle & Hog vs. ScorpbrA (Tag Team Tables Match)The reasoning behind this match, in a way, goes back to Episode 5, where Scorpion took Merle Junior out in the parking lot in order to re-enter himself into the Hardkore Title Tournament. Since then, I wanted to conspicuously hint at the ongoing "silent animosity" between Scorpion and Merle, especially during ScorpbrA and M&H's Episode 7 contest. With both teams eliminated during the Tag Team Mini-Tournament, I felt that a match at PD2008 would not only end the "silent animosity", but provide a good way for ScorpbrA to break up. The commentary sessions with Vince and I were recorded with two separate microphones (my current XLR mic and the older mic I used to use in the earlier YouTube shows) and provided some pretty hilarious outtakes I may just post on YouTube in the near future. I tried to keep the vibe of the commentary informal, which may have worked against us (as Jerry pointed out in an earlier post). Looking back, the real-world references in our commentary just seem childish and out of place, except for the few cases where we made fun of them (the "goons at ringside" and the "Edge & Christian? HAGH TUF!" lines, for example). I had a great time doing the commentary the way we did, though, and will definitely try it again for D:TR or Digital Mayhem 2009. As for the match? It was pretty average. It wasn't the worst match of the night but it wasn't the best one, either. Dealing with the unpredictable and stupid SVR2008 AI doesn't help it out, either. The fact that CobrA goes through the table, yet breaks up the team himself is a hint about where I want to go with Scorpion and CobrA's upcoming angle with one-another...I wanted to portray CobrA as a sore loser who had no right taking out his aggression on his brother when he, himself, was directly responsible for ScorpbrA's loss. All I have to say is...it should be an interesting next few months, folks... Match 3: Jesse Slash vs. Cecilia Rincon (URWL Womens' Championship Match)I was pushing Cecilia for this match from the time she beat Hikari Nakamura at Digital Mayhem, and I'm glad the voters agreed with me. Had she not won the vote, her push would have been an open-and-shut case, or a delayed title match at most, but I'm glad it turned out the way it did. It's one of my favorite matches of the night and I loved the way it turned out...even though it was hardcore rules, I wanted to really bring out what makes Jesse and Cecilia two entirely different species of wrestler. I felt the buildup to the eventual powerbomb through the table was effective enough and demonstrated a real unpredicatability to it, which lasted until Cecilia's final attack. Slash has one of the most unique movesets I've ever put together, and it's always fun to play as her...the front dropkick has been one of my favorite animations in the SVR series and it provides a good cornerstone to Slash's offensive arsenal. The only thing she needs, though, is a better finisher (nothing that SVR2009 can't fix). Also, with this match, I wanted to show that Cecilia's the furthest thing from an "Awesome Kong ripoff". Was the "proverbial glass ceiling" broken? I hope so...I wanted to prove that the women of the URWL were unique enough to warrant attention. Hopefully, in due time, what I set out to accomplish will come to fruition. So, where do we go from here? Time will tell. Match 4: Aleksandar Kuleshov vs. The Commander (URWL North American Championship Match)In my Production Diary thread, I believed this match would be the "sleeper of the night". Judging by the response to the match in this thread, I think what I set out to acheive in this match was accomplished. I wanted a marked contrast from the rest of the matches on the card. Because most of the rest of the matches were hardcore-based, I felt this match, regardless of what stipulation won the fan voting, needed to be strictly "technical wrestling". Commander and Kuleshov, to me, represent the "legitimate wrestling characters" of the URWL, and I needed to deliver a match that would compliment both characters. I added a few more martial arts and MMA-styled moves to Kuleshov's arsenal for this match to round out his moveset, and tried to use every one of his moves in order to make him a bit more well-rounded as the match went on. Before capturing this match, I studied the Endurance Match at Mayhem between Jesse Slash and Kelsey MacDonald and tried to figure out much more logical pacing for this contest. By not giving either wrestler a large advantage and by keeping it tied for a majority of the contest, I felt the ending was much more satisfying than that of the aforementioned Mayhem endurance match. The outcome was something I pondered for a long time: Why should Commander drop the belt without making a successful defense? After all, this could devalue the image of the belt. After a long period of deliberation, I decided to give the belt to Kuleshov in order for an angle to develop much more effectively. With Kuleshov's streak continuing, I think I can build up more animosity between both men and really flesh out the "neo-Cold War" overtones down the road. Match 5: Tag Team Turmoil IIIDisappointment of the Night. This was a match I had tons of problems with in capturing, and the final product only came after hours and hours of recapturing. The thing I can't stand about this game is the fact that the AI won't break up pins in a match like this. It's truly shameful, and for that reason, that's why you received a match like this. It's so easy to see who I controlled (Shaun McAndrew) and it seems like a bad reminder of the earlier YouTube shows. I was really disappointed in the final result. Angle-wise, GWN take the titles in order for me to "reboot" DFS. They'll be taking a few shows off but should be back with a retooled gimmick before you can say "Break On Through to the Other Side". Match 6: Akina vs. Blood (URWL Hardkore Title Match)I think the fan voting result was the best thing that could have happened to this match. The 2/3 falls gimmick was not my favorite stipulation of the matches I provided, but I think, in retrospect, it exceeded my intention when I edited together the final product. To those with a keen eye, this match is actually three matches in one, interspersed with titles (for the "random" match stipulations ala Three Stages of Hell) and generic crowd shots in order to give the illusion of a unified contest. My intention was to display a pretty even match between both men, where no one wrestler became "too dominant" over the other. Like in Akina's match with Scorpion, I wanted the loser of the match to put up a fight in order to improve his standing in the league and demonstrate that Akina still has much to learn as a young competitor. Blood, in this case, in order to become "Akina's biggest test as Champion", needed to be able to counter Akina's attack and stay with him throughout the match, which I needed to convey in order for the match to make sense. After watching the edited version, I thought Blood provided a good foil for Akina during the contest and, if anything, made Akina that much better throughout the match. The "run-in" with Vince turned out really well IMO and proved to be one of the match's strong points. I'm planning on having Vince re-appear in CAW form in the near future, so keep on the look out. Overall, the match definitely stood up, IMO, to the Scorpion/Akina contest at Mayhem and could very well be another MOTY performance for the "Monster from Maui". Match 7: Taurus vs. Victor Cordaro (Steel Cage Match)Overall, I was pretty impressed with how this turned out, but it doesn't really stand out to me in retrospect. The cage stipulation, in a way, almost limits the amount of spots I can try with these two. Despite that, I felt this match had a pretty logical flow to it despite all the near-falls and reversals I would've ended up including if this match's voting turned out differently. The multiple escape attempts in this match, I believe, increased suspense and quickened the pace enough to provide the match with a feel that fit both wrestlers. Also, the reason why I cut the "crawling" cutscene out of the cage door escape was because of its poor animation. Luckily, they improve this in SVR2009, so you may be seeing the crawling in future cage matches involving a "cage door" spot. Finally, I didn't intend for this match to be the "be all, end all" match of this angle, so expect bigger things from Cordaro and Taurus's rivalry down the road. I'm looking to end the angle with a bang. And no, it doesn't involve Diamond Dallas Page in any way, so get that thought out of your head. Match 8: Barry White vs. !nterogative (Internet Title Match)Again, like the Taurus/Cordaro match, I'm fairly pleased by the way it turned out. Not the best match on the card, but it provided enough entertainment value to make up for its apparent lack of pure wrestling spots. It's also a way to finally put to rest the aged conflict between Barry and !ntero, with Shane B. finally making a return to avenge his injury at !ntero's hands back in Episode 3. I can't help but think, though, that the outcome of the match may be killing !nterogative's heat. But, in a way, it's a good way for both men to finally move on to bigger and better things. SBP's turn at the end of the match was a long time coming, as I (like Mala) thought that he had no business being a face any longer. He was simply Barry's protege, nothing more and nothing less. Now, as a heel, I'm planning on making Shane a much more dynamic character, far from the cliched gimmicks stuck onto black wrestlers in CAW leagues today. A big match against Barry is in the works. As for !ntero...we'll see who he decides to pick on in the coming weeks now that Barry and Shane have won their revenge. Once again, the commentary process was a blast, and Vince was able to show a bit more versatility in this contest (you can even hear him screaming "Nooooo!" along with me at the end). It's hard to hear under Shane's music at the tail end of the match, but Vince "leaves the booth" in anger, which I thought was a nice touch. It seems his job is becoming much more complicated in this day and age... ;D Main Event: Jaime Emo vs. Seth Stern (URWL Championship Match)First and foremost, I did not want to compete with the Emo/Stern Ladder Match from Asphyxiation. The ending, I've concluded, will probably never be duplicated. All that aside, I wasn't surprised to see the Ladder Match win the voting. Knowing I would have a bit more pressure on me in the wake of Stern's return and the Match of the Year I'd have to live up to, I decided that this match was going to be our strongest main event yet...and I'm pleased to say that I'm extremely proud of the outcome. Since we debuted as a CAW league, our main events have been lacking compared to the rest of the show's matches. Those who remember my comments at Digital Mayhem know I wasn't that happy with the !nterogative/Emo match, and a few other people weren't too thrilled with it either. I remember one poster on the SMF forums said that the H*** in a C*** at Mayhem was "nothing special", so I knew I had to really step it up at the next supercard in order to win over the doubters. In a way, having two similar wrestlers in the main event really added to the quality of the contest, as I was able to deliver a much faster pace with Emo and Stern that I wasn't able to do with Emo and !ntero or !ntero and Barry. Even when looking at their match at Asphyxiation, I still think there were too many "slow parts" and redundancies that held it back in some respects. With Emo/Stern "II", I wanted to quicken the pace and keep it fairly fast throughout the contest, utilizing reversals, counters and high-flying maneuvers in order to keep a good rhythm going. The end spot, while not as unpredictable as Emo/Stern "I" at Asphyxiation, was suspenseful enough and served its purpose well. Like the ill-fated reign of CM Punk, I intend to keep Emo an underdog even as URWL Champion, someone that always seems to come back no matter what the circumstances. However, in no way do I want to turn him into "Super Cena". Having an effective reign as a face champion is tougher than simply handing the belt to a heel, so I believe that now Emo's a "Champion of Substance" here in the URWL, I think better things are on the way for him. I want the Emo/Stern feud to be the URWL's version of "Rock/Austin"...just that one angle that really captivates people and brings out the best in both participants. If I can pull that off, consider it a success. If not, you know who to blame when the complaints start rushing in.
